Week 5 Preview

 Another disappointing week for the writing staff, going 2-3 last week, making our season record 11-9 as we try to stay above 500. This week we have the first week of bye weeks in the NFL, as the Falcons, Steelers, Packers and Bears all have byes so the managers of the great Out of the Sandbox league have more obstacles to fight through. So, with that in mind, let's get to it. 


The Wiseguy 3-1 (126.49) vs. The Raining and Defending Undisputed World Tour Champion 2-2 (130.57)

The Yahoo Matchup of the week should be a close one throughout. It gets going tomorrow night as Ryan has Stafford going and The World tour counters with Ed's favorite son Christian. Though with how depleted the 49ers offense is right now, he is pretty much all they have left. They may need his dad, and some of his brothers just to field a healthy team. On Sunday the matchup will begin on the other side of the pond at 9:30 eastern, 8:30am in Texas as Judkins is going for the Wise guy running against the Viks. Both teams have players going Monday night as well so this one will not be decided until late Monday night, early Tuesday morning depending on where you are in our world. It is projected to be very close, and we feel it will stay that way, until a late Mahomes touchdown wins it for Chris and Jason. 135-130. DP 3-1 (113.18) vs. 1 half of the Smoking Gunns 2-2 (112.99)

A toss up of a matchup looking at the projections will get started tomorrow night, with Williams, K running for DP, not to be confused with his other running back, Williams, J. Both managers will not want to hit snooze too much Sunday morning as they have players going in the London game as well. DP will have to have a big lead after Sunday afternoon, as Billy Gunn has Jefferson, Cook, Shakir, and Worthy all playing Sunday or Monday night. DP wanted us to pass along this advertisement to make sure everyone remembers how important getting an education is.

 While we at the writing staff appreciate the former best AD in Michigan's views, we feel Santino's team is smoking right now, and will get another win, 121-117.

Another projections that are very close for this matchup, and it is an important one as a win for Tirico gets him right back in the hunt. G-Money is in first place overall right now, and he is the commissioner of the league. isn't that ironic?

Greg does have the best QB of all time, and even if AJ Brown continues to forget how to play tackle football he will still not have as bad of a week as some commissioners in the sports world. Greg does have someone going tomorrow night, so will get a lead, and neither team has anyone Monday night, so this one will be over after the Sunday night game and while the writing staff believes Tirico will keep it close, we are contractually obligated to pick G-money each week, unless he is projected to lose by 15 or more. Greg wins 130-125.

Best Man Robb 2-2 (124.92) vs Back 2 Back Emmy Winner 1-3 (109.88) 

Nacua is going for BMR tomorrow to get his week off to a good start. Dak is going to try to follow up his 40 burger with another good game against the dumpster fire that is the Jets. Speaking of 40, half of 40 is 20, so this week's matchup is brough to you by Sloney's 20th anniversary party. (which we hear was a lot like this, because many times Sloney also has to do it himself)

We do feel like this one will be closer than the experts think but Jer will be celebrating all week and not have his heart all the way in this one. BMR wants desperately to get back to being America's favorite runner up and will get another win, 120-117.

 King Derek 1-3 (138.65) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 2-2 (115.75)

This matchup does not begin until Sunday morning when J&R's running back will be going against Derek's defense. Derek then has everyone but his kicker p[ay during Sunday afternoon's game. There has been a lot said about Derek's 43 picks in the first three rounds, and while he has struggled so far in the early season, he got some good news, with Jayden Daniels being cleared to return to practice, making it more likely he will play Sunday, so this matchup is brought to you by...

 The wait is over, the NFL is back, for real, tomorrow night. So, let's not waste any time, let's get right to the week one preview for the best fantasy football league there is. Week 2 Preview

 After a successful week one, in which the writing staff went 4-1 with our picks, we feel pretty good about week 2. In fact, we feel even better. So let's get right into. The Commish 1-0 v (132.94) vs. Best Man Robb 0-1 (141.39) we are all shocked that BMR lost last week, but Yahoo has projected him to win this week. We however are worried about the fundamentals so this recap is brought to you by Tom Emanski. Week 4 Preview

 A very disappointing 2-3 last week, makes the writing staff's record 9-6 on the season. We are not happy about that at all, but what we are happy about is football ALL DAY SUNDAY!!
