Week 4 Preview

A very disappointing 2-3 last week, makes the writing staff's record 9-6 on the season. We are not happy about that at all, but what we are happy about is football ALL DAY SUNDAY!! (Plus two Monday night games) Yes, this week is the first international game of the season, and also the last week of the year, before byes start next week, so we have football Sunday at 9:30am, so let's get to it.  The Comish 2-1 (136.49) vs. The Never Ending Hootie Championship World Tour 2-1 (132.64) This is the matchup of the week for sure, so it is brought to you by the NFL matchup show NFL Matchup Show Preview for Week 4 We get going tomorrow night with the Seattle defense on the road in the desert in Arizona, but that will give Greg a lead. On Monday night the defending champs have a RB for both teams going in the Jets/Dolphins game, as well as the Denver D against the mighty Bengals of Cincinnati. The Boss has some flex appeal going Monday night, as well as his tight end Sunday night. We fe...

Week 3 Preview

Last week was not as good as week one, but 3-2 still isn't too bad, to make our season record 7-3 after two weeks. But enough about that, let's get right into week 3! King Derek 1-1 (148.44) vs DP 1-1 (123.17) One of two matchups this week of 1-1 teams facing off, no one plays tonight on either team, so this is a Sunday and Monday only matchup. A lot of similarities here, both start NFC East QBs and RBs and both have very talented young tight ends. Because of that this matchup is brought to you by Buns of Steel Original Buns of Steel This matchup should come down to Monday night, with King Derek, having King Derek going against DP with the Ravens D and St Brown. We believe it will stay close, but Derek will pull out a close 145-138 win.  The Wiseguy 2-0 (135.42) vs. Former 2 Time Emmy's winner 1-1 (128.18)  We made the mistake last week by picking against Ryan, well we learned our lesson, thanks to this week's matchup being brought to you former President George W Bush...

Week 2 Preview

After a successful week one, in which the writing staff went 4-1 with our picks, we feel pretty good about week 2. In fact, we feel even better. So let's get right into. The Commish 1-0 v (132.94) vs. Best Man Robb 0-1 (141.39) we are all shocked that BMR lost last week, but Yahoo has projected him to win this week. We however are worried about the fundamentals so this recap is brought to you by Tom Emanski. Tom Emanski baseball skills video (60 second ad) - featuring Fred McGriff - YouTube Greg is as old school as it gets, but has the new school as well, as he has the best QB of all time Josh Allen, that should be enough alone to get the win, but he also has Mr. Robinson at RB and the top wide out in the suddenly potent Jets offense. Robb is also starting Dak and we can't indorse that. All those things add up to a win for the bosh 138-132. DP 0-1 (132.46) vs. Tiricooooooooo 0-1 (132.93) This should be a very close matchup. No one on either team going tomorrow night, so it is ...

Week 1 Preview

The wait is over, the NFL is back, for real, tomorrow night. So, let's not waste any time, let's get right to the week one preview for the best fantasy football league there is. Brought to you by Labelle Realty  HOME | labelle The Hootie Championship World Tour (135.87) vs/ Back2Back Emmy's (129.23) This is sure to be a great matchup, and the writing staff thinks it will be a close one throughout. Hootie gets it started on Thursday night with his kicker and some flex appeal, while on Friday night both, well all three, managers will be glued to the TV as the Vickers go with McConkey and Patty Mahomes and Sloney goes with Pacheco and Travis Swift. If Jeremy can keep it close after the Sunday afternoon games, it gives everyone a reason to watch Monday night with Sloney having the Vikings Defense. I do think Jer will keep it close, but not enough to get the W. 110 yards and a TD for Nabers will be the difference as the defending champs start 1-0, 152-145.  The Commish (131.8...

2025 Draft Recap

Draft Weekend is over, and from what we have heard from sources and some pictures that have been shared with the writing staff it looks like everyone had a great time. Which is wonderful, because when it is all said and done, that is what it is all about. The fact that the league has been going strong for as long as it has been truly a wonderful thing and a testament to the members in the group. Let's now take a look at each team and how they are looking after the draft. Keeping in mind, we still have some time before the first game and a few managers are known for making some add/drops before game 1.  Hearts of Chaos: Having the greatest QB of all time, Josh Allen, Sloney's close and personal friend, sure helps, and a WR room of AJ Brown, D V Adams, and G Wilson to start and still have two #1 basically for their bad teams in DJ Moore and Jerry Jeudy we like what Greg did. Robinson, Bucky, Chubbs and Omarion "Orlando" Hampton gives the Comish a very good RB room as w...

2025 Draft Preview

Thankfully it is that time again, FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!! While it is sad the budget for the writing staff was not big enough for us to be able to get out to the draft in person, our contract has been extended through the 2025 season with a league option for 2026, so we will once again get to follow along all season long and feel like we are a part of the great Out of the Sandbox league. The draft, is tomorrow, Saturday, August 16th and while we wish we could be with all of you, well most of you, since two of the members have a really good reason to not be there, and the other is just a poor loser.  But enough with the intro, let's get right into the draft preview: Derek: First pick: #1     Keepers: Jayden Dainels, Trey McBride and Jameson Williams Outlooks: With three very good keepers plus four picks in the top 8, Derek is looking to be very strong this year. He has a lot of options on what he can do, as he has a 3rd, 4th, and two 5ths before his keepers begin in rou...

Semi Finals!!!!

The most important week of the fantasy season, so far, is here!!! And we don't have to wait long, tons of football the next 14 days. Games on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!!! Let's get to it: Horses Ass: BMR vs. Derek Best Man Robb, currently projected for 115 points this week, before adding the best FA pick up of the Colts D, who not only have the Titans this week, they play the Giants next week, well worth those 12 FAAB. He gets this matchup started on Thursday with Herbert going, who needs a good game against the Denver D. After that, he has Harris going Saturday, before the rest of his team takes the field on Sunday. Derek on the other hand, has all Sunday, and one Monday player, at press time and is projected 106.14 points. While it is true Derek is 13-11 all time against the Best Man, BMR is 2-1 against the D train in the playoffs. The writing staff really feels like picking up the Colts D will be the difference. BM...
