Before we take a closer look at it, Greg, pay attention: Jim Carrey is better than Jim Carrey  QB: Patty vs. Dak- Advantage Patty RB1: Hall vs. Gibbs- Advantage Gibbs RB2: CMC vs. H...

Week 14 Preview

Went 3-2 last week and that brings our season record to a respectable 40-24. This final week of the regular season but not much drama this week. Really it is the calm before the storm. Since the top 6 and  the bottom 4 is pretty much locked up. But let's get to this week's games, starting with the matchup of the week! Go Blue 10-3 (149.42) vs. Hootie n Blowfish World Tour 6-7 (132.12) Big time matchup though it does get off to a slow start, as of press time, each team is starting one player. The defending champs are going with Bates, while The Wiseguy has Goff. Hootie's squad will have to make sure they are near a TV during their world tour Sunday at 1pm and watch the Jets/Dolphins game, ouch, since they have Hall and Achane running in that one. Sadly for Rite Aid he will also have to focus on a little on that game as he has Mr. Waddle.  But he has JTT Jonathan Taylor Thomas In Green Tights JSN, and James Cook III and that is enough. Ryan gets the win and the one seed, 1...

Week 13 Preview

First, the writing staff would like to wish everyone in the Out of the Sandbox Fantasy Football League a very happy and safe Thanksgiving. We are sorry this is out a little late this week, especially when there are three games today, plus a game tomorrow before we even get to Sunday. But better late than never. Last week the writing staff went 4-1 and is a rather impressive 13-2 the last three weeks. Raising our season record to 38-22. But enough about us, let's talk about you all.  Hootie n Blowfish World Tour 6-6 (153.27) vs. Hearts of Chaos 7-5 (133.30) The defending champs are doing they can do to repeat and are starting to roll. Projections show them winning again this week. We will not have to wait long, as this matchup, has at least one player going at today's 1pm game, Bates, today at 430, Mahomes, tonight at 820, Andrews, tomorrow's game, AJ Brown, Sunday at 1pm, CMC, Achane, Kittle, Etiene, Hall, Wilson, Pierce, Irving, Adams, and Robinson, the Sunday 4pm games, ...

Week 12 Preview

Huge week for us last week, as we went 5-0 to raise the writing staff's record to 34-21 for the season. But who cares about last week anymore, on to this week.  Golden Gate 6-5 (139.70) vs. Williams & Williams associates 8-3 (132.44) The matchup of the week kicks off, with Matt Prater going tomorrow night, so the association of double Bills will get off to a lead going into the weekend. The writing staff however predicts that lead will not hold up. Without Chase, Higgins should have a big week, and Pickens is coming off a big game himself. Barkley against the terrible Dallas efense too should give Derek a lot of points. DP has some in that as well though, with Hurts and one half of the Williams & Williams connection. The other Williams brother will get some Sunday night for DP, so Derek will have to sweat it out, but after a big lead after the 405/425 games, Derek will hold on to win 145-141. So even though he will try to cheat with multiple false starts on the tush push, H...

Week 11 Preview

A very successful week last week going 4-1 has improved our season record to 29-21, but no one cares about us, this is about all of you, and the league is really starting to take shape. Ryan has a two game lead, but we still have six teams between 6-4 and 4-6 so a lot can change still. The big news of the week so far was the blockbuster trade Sloney and Derek pulled off. Derek getting Josh Jacobs, Tee Higgins, Kyle Monangai and a 2nd round pick for Derrick Henry, Emeka Egbuka, Jameson Williams and a first round pick. Vegas has already given Sloney the early odds for the favorite to win the 2026 title. But we can not get too far ahead of ourselves, how about week 11 of 2025 first.  Golden Gate 5-5 (153.99) vs. Go Blue 9-2 (135.96) The projections have changed from when we started writing this to when we will finish it I'm sure once the trade that rocks the league goes through, and once Derek changes his players around and will have the projections back on his side. The matchup...

Week 10 Preview

After going 3-2 last week, the writing staff's record for the season is now 25-20. Though we do feel we should get a little credit in the Santino vs. Tirico match, which we called for a tie at 123.45 and Tirico's actual points was 123.52, so pretty darn close, but Bambino was off by over 30 points for our predictions, so we digress. Let's get right into week 10, where we once again have Sunday football from 930am est till Sunday night.  William & Williams Associates 7-2 (119.60) vs. Hearts of Chaos 5-4 (123.69) This matchup gets going tonight with Bowers playing for DP, and then there is someone in this matchup going Sunday at 930, 1, 4, 820 and Monday night. DP needs to add a kicker still, but once he does the projections will slip back over to his side. G-Money has just had one of those years with injury after injury and really all he has at this point is the greatest and best QB ever, and friend of the league being Sloney's close and personal friend since the Wy...

Week 9 Preview

Sadly, we went 2-3 last week, dropping our season record to 22-18. The season is really picking up however, with every team, well almost every team, still having playoff implications. With that in mind, we need to get right to this week's matchups. Go Blue 7-1 (122.86) vs. Hearts of Chaos 5-3 (107.57) The projections have the Wiseguy getting a pretty easy win this week, and that is even before they add a defense playing. The Comish is definitely hoping he can trick his way to a win this week, so this matchup is brought to you by: “I Put A Spell On You” By Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy | Hocus Pocus The matchup gets off to a big start on Thursday night, as Lamar Jackson is back under center for the former Dean, and has Miami this week, then Minnesota, Cleveland, Jets, and then the Bengals before playing the Steelers, and then having the Bengals again. In other words, here comes the Ravens. G-Money is hoping all of Lamar's points go to Mark Andrews, but ev...
