2020 draft review

Draft day is over, and we are getting ready for the season. We had some fun, fell in love with Jackie, and now we prepare for the NFL season that hopefully not only begins on time but also ends. So let's take a look at how each team did. The Dean:  Draft recap: Having three first round picks, and keeping some good talent, you would think Rite Aid would come away with a really good team. After drafting Run CMC first of course, he went rookie rb and Julio Jones next in the first. He then took Kelce in the 2nd to basically finish his starters. Lamar, CMC, Sanders, Adams, Julio,  and Kelce. Having Edelman, M Brown and Allen, as more WR depth as options is nice too I guess.  Season Predictions: Is it time for another member of the Three-Time Champ Club??? NO, it is not.  Rykers Island: Draft Recap: Getting Barkely brings a class to his team made up usually of Ohio State cheaters that should help him this season. I think between Bell and Gordon, one of them will be worthy of a RB2, and

Season Preview

It's been a year unlike any other, and who knows if the season will either begin, let alone end, but at least we have one special moment in the crap year that is 2020. OUR DRAFT!!! With the keepers announced it is time to look at the teams going in to the season and make some predictions. Wayne Fontes Division: Our Comish: Keepers: Cooper Kupp 6th, Russell Wilson Jr III 7th, AJ Brown 9th First Pick: 1st pick in the 2nd round Season Outlook: Who cares, he is the defending champ and won too much, he'll be fine. The brother's Slone: Mr. Football: Keepers: David Johnson 3rd, DJ Moore 9th First Pick: 8th pick in the first round Season Outlook: He has the inside info, that usually gets him to the playoffs. Last year he was our entertainment at the draft, what does he have in store for 2020?  Tirico: Keepers: James Conner 6th, George Kittle 8th, Kyler Murry 9th First Pick: 4th pick in the first round, also has the 10th pick in the first round Season Outlook: Really putting a lot

The stupid things I say during the draft bets update

Looking at the bet log, if all things are corrected by what has been paid and not paid, it looks like at the draft I own the following things: Buying lunch for Greg and Santino thanks to the CM Punk bet Own Greg $10 for the Coach Mac and Mo Wager bets Own Santino $15 for the Coach Mac and Tyler Boyd Bets (The $5 I would have owned to Dustin and Derek for said bet, are cancelled out due to me winning the Eagles winning the NFC east bet) Own Dustin $2 for two N'Keal Harry bets Jeremy owns me one drink and Ryan one drink due to the two drinks he would own me for Pistons draft, and the one drink I own Ryan for the Mo Wager bet. In updated longer bet news: The most wins between 2018-2021 Lions vs. Giants bet between Greg and I is currently tied at 9 wins each with two seasons left. The most Pac 12 wins bet between Ryan and I will be cancelled since as of right now, Chip Kelly has 7 PAC 12 wins and needed to get 18 to tie Rich Rod in three years... so he would need 11 this year... that i

Keeper and Trade deadline

With the deadline for keepers and trades before NEXT WEEKS DRAFT!!!!!!!!!!!! we have some late breaking news. WWMT is reporting Dylan Patterson, AKA DP, is keeping Austin Ekeler in the 4th round, Michael Thomas in the 6th, and Patrick Mahomes in the 9th. Not too bad keeping the best QB and best WR in mid to late rounds. Let's see how the state's best Athletic Director will handle the 2020 season.

Keepers coming in

We have just got this information off the wire and we wanted to share a few more teams keepers before the deadline tomorrow. The Bristol Press is reporting Mr. Football will be keeping David Johnson in the 3rd round and DJ Moore in the 9th round. We have also learned via telegraph that Derek will be keeping Kenyan Drake in the 6th, after trading for him today, Tyler Lockett in the 8th round and this one guy named Alvin Kamara in the 9th, bold choice there. We are looking forward to a great draft for a season our Comish thinks there is no chance will finish, if it can start.

Keepers announced from the Island

The Grand Rapids Press has reported they have received inside sources from Rykers Island on who the keepers for this Dustin guy. Ryker's Island will be be keeping Ju Ju on that beat Smith-Schuster in the 6th. DJ Clark in the 9th and Sterling Shepherd in the 12th.  At this point we are waiting to hear from DP, Derek, Mr. Football and confirm the last keeper for BMR.  Also tomorrow is the deadline for trades, we will see if any trades are made.

Keeper list growing

We have received word two and half more teams have announced their keepers: The Battle Creek Enquirer is reporting the one they called Santino is keeping Matty Ice Ryan in the 9th round and Nick stop looking at my Chubb in the 6th. They are also reporting Tiricooooooo!!!! is keeping James Conner in the 6th, George Kittle in the 8th and Kyler Murray in the 9th. Also the Delaware (OH) Gazette is reporting Robb, aka Best Man Robb, aka BMR, aka Mr. Runner up, is keeping Adam Thielen in the 6th round an Chris Godwin in the 8th round. As for his last keeper it is still up in the air at this time. The money is him taking one of his man crushes Travis Kelce in the 2nd so the KC Chiefs don't make him turn back in his fandom. Though he could go value with either Devin Singletary in the 11th or an always favorite in this league DeVante Parker in the 9th.  Stay turned for more updates. As the last day for keepers and trades is TOMORROW, since even though the draft was changed for future years

More Keepers Reported

More Keepers have been announced as Jake Doles from WOOD TV 8 Sports is reporting the Dean will be keeping Miles Sanders in the 4th, Devonte Adams in the 6th and Madden Cover Boy Lamar Jackson in the 9th. Meanwhile The Marshall Evening Chronicle is reporting G Money, our Comish, is keeping Cooper Kupp in the 6th, Russel Wilson Jr III in the 7th and AJ Brown in the 9th. As the deadline for trades and keepers inch closer, stay tuned for more late breaking up to the minute news.

Two Weeks Away!!!

In this crazy year of 2020 things don't seem normal at all. Things you normally look forward to are not really happening and as MLB NBA and NHL attempt to either finish their season or start and finish their season we are all waiting for the NFL to have their season and what they come up with. Like the MLB they are plaining to still have home and away games and travel. Unlike baseball they do not play every day and there would be time before and after each game for everyone on a team to be tested before going to their next city.  Of course also unlike baseball, football has a lot more physical contact. The preseason is already cancelled, which doesn't mean much except for the players who use it to get a job on their team. So why we don't know if the season will be able to start on time or at all, and if it does start, will it be able to finish. With all this being said it is hard to get truly excited for fantasy football, as a day that is usually one of my favorites of the
