Week 8 Preview

A disappointing 2-3 last week drops our season record to a barely average 19-16. Week 8 is here which is kind of a fun week with only two bye teams, but it’s KC and the Chargers so still lots of teams had to juggle line ups, much like Derek juggles balls in his mouth… just checking if he reads it…  speaking of our former King Derek he is sitting a top in first at 5-2 at the moment, with Sloney, DP, Hootie, and BMR all at 4-3, while G-money, Tirico, Bambino and Steve are at 3-4 and the Wiseman is at 2-5 focused more on buying containers. Let’s get to it! DP 4-3 (131.17) vs. BMR 4-3 (132.56) The match up of the week for sure, not only is it two 4-3 teams going after it and the projections are so close, now that DP was nice enough to change his line up and put Jefferson back in and his bye players out, but also this match up has at least one player going in all the 6 time slots for the week, tonight, Sunday 930, Sunday 1, Sunday 4, Sunday night, and Monday night! So this one should be fun

Week 7 Preview

Went 3-2 last week to make our season record 17-13. The League still is looking great with three 4-2 teams, four 3-3 teams and three at 2-4, so while we are getting closer no 2023 draft prep is happening just yet, (though some moves already may have) as all teams can still make the playoffs, and no team will be the Pistons or Wings and go 82-0 or 81-0-1 respectively since everyone has at least two losses. But enough about that, let’s get right into the matchups Week 7 Byes: Bills, Rams, Eagles and Vikings  Mr. Sports Emmy 4-2 (138.87) vs. BMR 3-3 (113.27) Both have won two games in a row, and both are dealing with some keep players out on bye week, and both have one player going tonight. BMR has TE/QB Taysom Hill while Sloney has the returning Mr Hopkins. Should be advantage Slone in that one. The only thing that is giving Jer an edge here is Robb is starting the 49ers defense against his beloved Chiefs… so not sure if he is throwing in the towel on this one, going for a reverse jinx

Week 6 Preview

First, great week as we went 5-0 in our picks last week to raise the record to 14-11 on the season. Also the league is looking great right now. With a 4-1, three 3-2 and then six 2-3 teams it is wide open and this is a huge week, so let’s get right to it. First week of bye’s for managers to deal with.  Week 6 Byes: Lions Texans Raiders and Titans  King Derek 4-1 (132.57) vs. DP 3-2 (137.21)  Big match up of the week as #1 and #3 teams go at it. No one going tonight and just a kicker Monday night, so unless the score is very close we should know the winner by late Sunday night. I do see this like yahoo in that it will be close. My concern for Derek is Lamar has been finding Andrews more lately then Bateman and that very well could be the difference. The 1pm Ravens/Giants game will go a long way in finding a winner in this one. Also who will be Quarterback for Miami and can he throw it to Waddle, not sure if DP can count on 3 TDs this week against the Bills from Kelce, so because of tha

Week 5 Preview

After a 3-2 week we are now 9-11 on the season. We have a great season shaping up right now, with Derek still 4-0, two members at 1-3 and then the other 7 at 2-2. Lets get right to the match ups!! Mr Sports Emmy 2-2 (142.33) vs King Derek 4-0 (137.71) Big time match up here, as the 1 seed takes on the 3 seed. Game of the week for sure! It gets started tonight with Derek having Denver Defense, which someone definitely gave up on too quick, not sure who was that dumbass, going against a Jonny Taylor less Colts. Taylor’s loss is a rough one for Sloney but his and the worlds favorite fantasy site still has him projected to win. This will be a fun match up to watch back and forth as there is a player on at least one of the teams playing in all 6 time slots of games this weekend, Thursday night, Sunday morning, Sunday 1, Sunday 4, Sunday night and Monday night! In the end Jimmy G may choose who wins this matchup based on which wide out he wants to throw to more. So far it would seem Sloney
