Out of the sandbox

 A disappointing 2-3 week last week, clearly we are not in mid season form with our picks after a long layoff so hopefully this week will be much better. Going into week 8 and 90% of the league is still thinking playoffs and very much alive. Sadly the one team that isn’t has yet to experience the thrill of victory this season. Let’s get right to the picks, shall we? 4-3 Tiricooooooo (132.77) vs. 4-3 Derek the Great (123.92) 3vs4 in a huge matchup this week. Derek has Cook and Evans going tonight so he will at least have a lead at some point, the question is can he maintain. Tirico does have the biggest position advantage with Kelce vs all other Tight ends, especially if TSwift is in attendance and Uncle Travy’s yards improve by 50 yards a game, and he also has King Henry, against ATL, like that match up. Derek has some guys on paper that should perform, but just too many questions for me, kind of like, what’s Derek doing? Has anyone heard from him since the draft? Stuff like that. Tiri

 It feels so good to be back, after the writers' strike ended, we had to come to terms with a new contract. There were some members of the staff who wanted more money and others of us who just wanted to get back to doing what we love. Well, it took three weeks, and all is now right in the world again. the NCAA is still chasing Jim Harbaugh, and 9 of the 10 teams are still believing they have a chance at the playoffs going into week 7, while the other is forced to spend their weekends at karaoke bars singing Sweet Caroline. So, let's get right into it, shall we. You have all waited long enough.  4-2 Hootie World Tour part Deux (126.49) vs. 4-2 Tiricoooooooooo (113.74)  An early semifinal preview perhaps? As #2 takes on #3, Hootie is projected to win but does Run CMC play? Minnesota is one of three stadiums still known for the worst turf, does the 49ers risk it?
