32 teams in 32 weekdays-Baltimore

2017 Record: 9-7 The Ravens are usually known for a great defense and besides a few players or two once in awhile a team that your fantasy team should stay away from. Joe Flacco is a super bowl winning QB and makes a lot of money, but if he is your QB1 you are most likely not making the playoffs in any fantasy league. This off season, they signed RG3... odd.. then used a first round pick on Lamar Jackson.... more odd.... You have to think that the Ravens will have some short of package for Lamar Jackson, I mean why draft him if you don't, so they have to get him on the field in some way shape or form.. Will someone be brave enough to use a late round pick on Lamar? Alex Collins did show he can at least be a decent starting RB in the NFL and is worth having on a fantasy roster... again if you are starting him every week... make other plans for the playoffs because you will not be playing in them. Maxx Williams and Kenneth Dixon are his main back ups.. not exactly murders row.

32 Teams in 32 weekdays-ATL

Atlanta Falcons 2017 Record: 10-6. Lost in division round 15-10 to eventual Super Bowl Champion Eagles Matty Ice got paid, and skill positions are still there for Atlanta, with Julio Jones, being on almost anyone's top ten players list for fantasy, and a top 3 WR. Mohamed Sanu is a very solid WR2, and rookie Calvin Ridley will be an upgrade I believe. As for the ground game, both Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman remain a must own 1-2 punch in fantasy football. Freeman being a top 10 running back in almost every format. Matt Ryan is going to put up numbers and is someone that you don't have to spend a high pick (like not in the first 10 rounds) on. Will there defense be able to stop anyone? The Falcons ranked 21st in total fantasy points scored by a defense last year, and with Julio and Matty Ice a year older, the defense at some point may have to carry up there end of the bargain if the Falcons want another 10+ win season. Matt Bryant will continue to do the kicking fo

Way Back Wednesday-2008

In our first edition of Way Back Wednesday we look at each of our past seasons. Today we start with the first season officially for the Out of the Sandbox League, even though many members were already in a league together before this. As 2008 season started it looked like Santino may be the team to beat. He got off to a hot start and maintained it throughout the year, ending the season at 11-3 and as the one seed going in to the playoffs. The two seed was the man they call Tirico as he finished the year 10-4 and was balanced all year long. In 3rd and 4th were Steve and Sloney, who both were 9-5. Steve started the year with two losses in a row but was able to right the ship and make the semi finals . In the semis Santino took on Sloney and his dream quickly became a nightmare as the number one seed went down 103-71. Sloney was in the title game awaiting the winner between Tirico, who I guess is actually his brother who's name is Matt? we are looking in to it, and Steve. Tirico w

32 teams in 32 weekdays-ARI

Arizona Cardinals: 2017 Record: 8-8 The ageless Larry Fitzgerald is back for another year to lead the Cardinals wide receiving core, though they did get him some help with early round pick Christian Kirk from Texas Agricultural and Military University, better known as Texas A&M. We will see how Kirk can help the Cards and new starting QB Sam I'm good until week 5 Bradford.  Also new this year is UCLA's Josh Rosen, who the Cards moved up to get at #10, and then he quickly told everyone how the first 9 teams were dumb for not taking him. When will Rosen get to prove himself on the field? Just in case he isn't ready, and when Bradford gets hurt. Arizona also has veteran back up Mike Glennon that could take some snaps for them.  David Johnson will of course once again be the main weapon in the Cardinals back field and Arizona really doesn't have anything solid behind him. Making him one of the few true featured backs left in the NFL, a factor back if you wi

Meet the League-Part 10

In our 10th and final edition of our Meet the League series we take a look at a divorced loser father of two named Steve. Steve talks a lot of crap and likes to think he is pretty good at fantasy football and one of the great sports minds of our time, but really, he has a losing record, 73-83 overall, those 83 losses are the 3rd most career losses for the League by the way, and he has given up two of the top three most points scored in a season in league history. Steve does have one championship, in 2014, and he did use his time with the trophy well making a series of semi funny history of the trophy videos that will be viewed for years to come on the League's google drive page. Steve has been playing Yahoo fantasy since 2002 and has managed 182 total teams in that time. Steve's team name was inspired by a shipping mistake when ordering coasters for the league. The company shipped The Out of the Sandbox coasters to a engaged couple, Jennifer and Ronny, and we got their coas

Meet the League-Part 9

In today's edition of Meet the League, we take a look at a man who has an overall record of 68-72, a man who has been a Yahoo member since 2009, and a man that holds the record for the most points scored in a week. When in the first week of the 2013 season he scored an amazing 208.66 points. He is the only member of the 200 points in a week club. Also due to someone no longer being in the league, he is the raining winner of the largest margin of victory in any week, as he beat Santino once by 99.52 points! That man is of course a man named Derek. Derek was born in the early 1980's to a hard working mid western family who raised him with high morals and self esteem. He was a two time Science Olympia champion and medaled at his 5th grade field day. After college, Derek met a young lady named Andrea, the two fell in love instantly. The couple married just outside Barcelona, at the foot hills of Mount Tibidabo. After the wedding the couple soon after welcomed their first child, a

Meet the League-Part 8

In today's edition of Meet the League we look at a man named Ryan, or as he is known to the four outstanding men who went to Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2007, Rite Aid. Ryan has been playing fantasy football since about 1996, and using the best website in fantasy, YAHOO, since 2000. Ryan likes to change his team each year based on a current player from his team that year. So we will have to wait until at least August 18th to find out what his team name will be this year. Ryan is a Lions fan, and surprisingly enough listed Barry Sanders as his favorite all time football player. Ryan would not eat himself if he was a hot dog and was starving... so Harry Carry judges him.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTY13Ea314A Ryan does not have any children, and as far as we know is not dating anyone at this time. He is however in charge of many kids, as he is the Dean of the Chandler Woods Middle School Charter Academy. The Dean is a two time champion, as he is our defending champ, even th

Meet the League-Part 7

Today in our 7th edition of ten in our meet the league series we take a look at Robb, better known as Best Man Robb, or simply BMR. BMR has been playing fantasy football since the late 90's, he was invited to a league by our fearless commissioner  Greg, and instantly got obsessed. BMR likes the Lions but is also a big Kansas City Chiefs fan. Thus why his team name has to do with one Kareem Hunt, who made BMR climax many times last season, and due to our keeper rules, will be able to make Robb climax for some years to come. Besides of course Barry Sanders, and the late great Derrick Thomas, BMR lists the Nigeria Nightmare Christian Okoye, and Tony Gonzalez as some of his all time favorite players. Off course Mr. Hunt is his favorite player currently, though really Robb likes every player in the NFL besides Desean Jackson, who he hates with a passion. BMR is married to his wife named Kelly, and to Kareem Hunt in his head. The two have been blessed with two children, Ben, who is 1

Meet the League-Part 6

In our next edition of meet the league we look at the other new member of the League Mr. Dylan Patterson. DP has been playing fantasy football for 16 years now. He has choose his team name based on two rookies named Chubb and trying to be as inappropriate as possible. DP is a Lions fan, but he grew up as a 49ers fan, and acquired his father's love of the Purple People Eaters as well. Joe Montana and Jerry Rice were the players he grew up watching that got him in to football. DP is married to a wonderful women named Leslie, they do not have any two legged children but they do have two dogs. A newfoundland named Zppelin, and a Maltese named Rico. DP would absolutely eat himself if he was a hot dog, but he would do it in rations. Because he is pretty sure he can complete the Mark Warner math on it. DP is a big fan of Vegas and he is really looking forward to sports betting in Michigan. He has visited Vegas many time and has had pretty good luck with the bets he has made. He is a

Meet the League-Part 5

In today's fifth installment of our Meet the League series we take a look at one of our two new members in the Out of the Sandbox League. Today that new member we look in to is Dustin Ryke. Though Dustin is in his first year in this League he is hardly a rookie in the fantasy football game. Dustin has played Fantasy Football since 2007, however in those ten years, he has zero championships even though he has made the finals seven times. 7 second place finishes in ten years... sounds like Best Man Robb has some serious competition in his quest for runner up this season. Dustin's team name is Because I can't go for three. Of course paying respect to the legendry coaching great of the Ohio State Football team Woody Hayes, who went for two in a 1968 blowout of Michigan and with the final score of 50-14 asked why he went for two, and he responded with because I couldn't go for three. The long time successful coach, and terrible excuse for a human being of course was fired

Meet the League-Part 4

So far in our first three editions of Meet the League we just happened to cover the 3 men with the most wins in League history. In today's addition of meet the League we go in a different direction and focus on the man they call Santino. A member of the League who has been verbally abused and reprimanded by none other than Tim Hasselbeck, not once, but twice. Santino has never won in Fantasy Football, but he has got 2nd before. But Santino is still a champion, a watermelon eating contest champion! Maybe this year being year 19 of Santino playing fantasy football will be the year (Checks Notes) nope, no chance. Santino does not have just one team name when he plays Fantasy Football, sometimes even changing his team name during the season. He likes to just take something he likes at the time, or uses it as a chance to mock someone or something going on in the League. This year it should be something about his upcoming nuptials. Santino is a smart man and did say that he would eat

Meet the League-Part 3

Today we continue our Meet the League series with the one and only Jeremy Slone, better known simply as Sloney or as I call him Mr. Football. Sloney remembers playing fantasy football on a website called sandbox.com which he thought was around 97 or 98. Sloney is a former champion in the league and currently is sitting at number 3 on the all time wins list, behind just Tirico and Greg. Sloney's team name is Hilltop Creeper which comes from a news story he saw when in the worst state in the union, Ohio, when the draft was held at the residence of Best Man Robb. It was a story about a peeping Tom in the area and that's what they were calling him, due to Sloney's constant behind the scenes creeping pictures he takes while working on location for the mother ship the name definitely fits him. Sloney lists the Detroit Lions as his favorite team with some rooting interest in the Buffalo Bills. For starters, he did intern there and also they now have Josh Allen, someone who Slo

Meet the League Part two

Today we continue our ten part series as we meet the members of the Out of the Sandbox League. We started yesterday with the commissioner Greg Morris, today, as we continue to go in the order in which answers were returned, we go with a young man named Matthew Slone. Most people may not know who Matt is, until you tell them that he is better known as Tirico, or the Other Slone, or Sloney #2, or any other demeaning name that one can think of at the time since Tirico is not a past champion of this League unlike his brother. Tirico may think he won the title back in 2016, but that is not true, the title was vacant that year because of the #notmychampion campaign. In his profile it stats Tirico has been playing fantasy since 2003, but he did start playing with Out of the Sandbox League before that. This year Tirico's name is in honor to the famous Dilly Dilly Bud Light commercials since his 2017 season was a pit of misery for him... pure joy for the rest of us. Tirico is a lonely

Meet the League Series- Part one of ten

Leading up to the season we are going to take an in depth look at the ten members that make up the Out of the Sandbox Fantasy Football League. This group of 10 outstanding men is the finest collection of fantasy football players known in this great country.  Today we begin our ten part series to get to know these phenomenal men. May as well start with the Commissioner One Greg "G Money" "Games are Cancelled" Morris. As a life long Detroit Lions fan Greg knows all about pain and suffering. Though in the Out of the Sandbox League Greg was the first two time champion, and vows this year, as he has 72 picks in the first two roads, he will win again to become the first three time champ. A fantasy player since 1999 Greg has a wife and a son but he does not let that get in the way of a perfectly good fantasy league.  This year his team name will be Redzone Redemption in hopes of emerging from the darkness for some more fantasy glory. With his early picks Vegas is curre

Early Keeper Predictions

With months before the season starts and injuries or suspensions, Mark Ingram, I'm looking in your direction, always playing a factor the players that the League members choose to keep will absolutely change before August 11th, but with the Wings long since done with their season, and the Tigers barley pretending to look like a real major league team on most days, why not talk about football. So here is a way to early look at keeper predictions for each team: Greg: Doug Baldwin 5th round Jarvis Landry 6th round Jimmy G 9th round Matt: Tom Brady 6th Cooper Kupp 9th Derek: Melvin Gordon 2nd Alvin Kamara 14th Santino: Sanu 9th Matty Ice 14th Sloney: David Johnson 7th Jordan Howard 8th D Watson 9th Dylan: D Freeman 2nd S Diggs 3rd M Thomas 8th Dustin: Collins or Ju Ju on that beat in the 9th I guess... Steve: ODB 4th Derrick Henry 6th Devin Funches 9th Robb: Mike Evans 3rd Travis Kelce 4th Kareem Hunt 5th Ryan: B Cooks 4th D Adams 8th Went

Up and Running

The Calendar may say May, and the weather is finally getting warming in the mid west and east cost but Football is back for the Out of the Sandbox Fantasy Football League. Three trades have already been confirmed by League sources and the two new members have fit right in to the messenger app for friendly banter and general good nature ribbing. The first trade was between Steve and tried and true trade partner Derek, as Steve got back into the 4th round, with pick 4.8, and picked up 8.8 while sending Derek 5.1 and 7.8. This move was followed a few days later by two separate moves by Jeremy. One with Greg as Jeremy was able to get one of his man crushes Deshawn Watson, and pick 7.1 in return for Jarvis Landry and pick 5.5 He then moved quickly to move from the 5th pick overall to the 2nd pick overall by trading Tom Brady, 1.5, 2.4 and 3.5 to his younger brother Matt and got back 1.2, 2.9 4.5 and Allen Robinson. With all trades updated the current first round looks like this: 1) Gr
