32 Teams in 32 Weekdays-Chargers
2017 Record: 9-7
(Note: Yes I am doing the Chargers, and soon the Rams, based on San Diego and St Louis... I did this on purpose, I will not call them LA... sorry... Maybe someday I will, but that day is not today.)
The Chargers are kind of just there in the NFL.. They have a great RB in Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen is a very good WR, and Phillip Rivers is a solid QB, especially in fantasy, because he puts up good numbers and you can also get him late in drafts. Their defense even finished 9th overall in total fantasy points last season, which is also pretty darn good. They just missed a playoff spot last year with a 9-7 record... and no one outside of California, or inside of it for that matter, cares at all.
Besides Allen, the other wide outs are Tyrell Williams, last year's 1st round pick Mike Williams, and Travis Benjamin, not really a bad group at all for Mr. Rivers. Virgil Green will be getting some back up TE reps to go with Hunter Henry, who is a talented TE, and looks to take over the future Hall of Famer and former MAC basketball player Antonio Gates.
Besides Gordon, their back field depth is a little lite. Justin Jackson, a 7th round pick this year, Austin Ekeler and Russell Hansbrough are not necessarily going to scare anyone.. so Melvin.. don't get hurt. Caleb Strugis and Roberto Aguayo are the two kickers in camp for the Chargers. Not sure that information is needed by anyone.
2018 Predictions: 8-8
The dream of the NFL, 8-8. Just a bunch of average teams that are not bad, but never going to win anything. I believe the division got a little better and they will take a small step back, and 8 wins may be nice, time will tell.
