Playoffs Week 2!

Went 2-2 last week, so that makes us 19-22 for the season. This week is the most important week for the Championship bracket, win and you guarantee yourself money. But first let's look at the other matchups as well. Greg (118.35) vs. BMR (112.90) The Commish has a player going tonight, as well as Saturday, Sunday and Monday and this is a very scary roster. For Best Man Robb this week, and for The Wiseguy next week. Greg is in a great position to win the consultation bracket. Which makes sense considering he was in it to make the playoffs, and looked to make it, until the final week. BMR does have one player tonight, before the rest of his roster plays Sunday and Monday. That should keep these two friends watching closely at games all weekend, while enjoying some Forced Family Fun and also some lighthearted, or in Greg's case, new hearted, trash talk. Greg holds on to win this one 122-119.  The Wiseguy (114.91) vs. Sloney (100.51) Mr. Back2Back Emmy's does have someone toni

Playoffs Week 1!!!!

Went 3-2 to end the regular season with a record of 17-20. Now the playoffs have arrived. Time for all the work all year to mean something. Trying to get one trophy, and definitely not get another one. First congratulations to The World Tour and Bambino for having a bye week and making the semifinals.  Consolation: Greg (122.87) vs. Sloney (107.29) Shocked the Commish and Co Commish both did not make the playoffs and are now facing off in week one of the consolation bracket. No Collusion here! G-Money will win, mostly because Sloney is busy with activities and the 2024 draft prep that he began working on in week 4 of this season. Greg wins 125-110. BMR (111.80) vs. The Wiseguy (125.23) After starting the season at 3-0, Ryan lost 10 in a row before a huge blowout win last week. Is that what this team needs to get some momentum and win the consolation bracket? Time will tell, the talent is there on this roster especially with the QB and wide outs, one already got off to a great start la

Week 14 Preview

A 3-2 week, making us 14-18 on the season. Still one spot left in the playoffs and the two with a shot play each other. You can't write this stuff. Here we go! 6-7 The Commish (128.49) vs. 5-8 DP's Ass Principal (110.35)   DP is projected to lose but does have a defense going tonight on his bench, if he changes his mind, and a tight end on a bye week, so once that is taking care of it may be much closer than some may thing. DP does have more overall points than Gregory so if DP wins, he is in, unless the Commish somehow changes the rules in mid-season and just gives the last playoff spot to him.  However, it is not going to matter, Greg will make the playoffs, for he has to according to the constitution. Greg wins 125-118. Playoff members Hootie, Santino, Derek, and Tirico will of course win their matchups as well.  And that is phoning it in folks. Time to watch the Wings soon!!!

Week 13 Preview

Went 4-1 last week to raise our season record to 11-16. Week 13 is underway of course and we had a rare good game on Thursday night football with big points being scored. A total of 9 players played for five teams with a total score of 173.02. That is an average of 19.22 points per player. With the high being 37.40 (DK) and the low being the allas effense (-0.33) 5 of the 6 playoff spots are now clinched but with this week and next week left in the regular season, the five remaining teams all could make the playoffs. With that in mind, let's get to it. 3-9 Go Blue Wiseguy (117.51) vs. 5-7 The Kupp Of the Commish's life (122.13)  That allas effense may really come back to hurt Greg, who needs the win, though Ryan needs the win morer and morer he will get. The former dean got almost double the projected points from his two players that already played, but still has only a 45% chance of winning. Fun that with Lamar on bye, Ryan has Jordan Love going against KC, as G-Money has Pat

Week 12 Preview

Went 2-3 last week to make our terrible season record 10-15. Season 12 of course started in a big way yesterday with three games, and some managers already have their work cut out for them if they want to come back and win this week, so let's get right to it.  8-3 Santino (135.99) vs. 8-3 Derek (123.03)  Bambino got off to a great start last night with almost 17 points from his defense. That definitely gives him an edge, however it is not over yet. Mr. Hall could have a big game this afternoon and get Derek right back into. This is a very big matchup of course as it could be a semi final preview. Santino wins this round 130-125.  5-6 The Commish (148.77) vs. 7-4 Tiricooooooooo (127.81)  Greg got off to a fast start yesterday as well as his projections went up 12 points from before yesterday's action. Young Matthew does have his defense going today with Miami, so he could get some points back, however, our fearless leader makes sure he is always in the playoffs, so he will win

Week 11 Preview

A tough 2-3 week last week making us a disappointing 8-12 on the season. Trades are in full swing, but really all ten teams are still alive for the playoffs. So let's get right to it.  8-2 Hootie World Tour (131.03) vs. 7-3 King Derek (116.54)  This one gets starterd tonight as both teams have players going. Chris and Jason should get off to a lead with Andrews and Burrow going this evening while Derek just has Flowers. The world tour also has a new WR#1 in Mr. Hill and that will be the difference between these two. It will be close but Hootie can not be stopped. Hootie wins 134-125. 8-2 Santino (120.36) vs. 4-6 The Commish (129.21) 3 players going this evening as well in this matchup. G-Money has not done as well as he has hopped since his trade but he is still in the playoffs as of now and will definitely be a threat to anyone he may face. Including Bambino. I think this will be the closest matchup of the week, but The man is charge pays me to pick him, so Greg wins 125-124. 6-4

Week 10 Preview

Last week was a little better, going 3-2, rising our short season record to 6-9. We have a big #1 vs #2 match up this week so let’s get right to it.  8-1 Bambino Not Screwed at all (115.26) vs 7-2 Hootie’s never ending world tour (130.61)  I fell for it once, not again. Santino clearly is not losing again, he is a team of destiny! He has the Best QB ever, a top 3 RB, plus two other stud RBs, plus he has the only Bengal wide out currently practicing or even bringing their jerseys with them to practice. Throw that all together and the great matchup between Cuban Gooding Jr and Darius Rucker is won by Santino, 125-116. This matchup does surprisingly start this evening during the you can’t pay me enough to watch Bears vs Panthers game.  6-3 Derek where are you? (112.69) vs. 3-6 The Fighting DP’s (102.67)  DP hit hard with bye weeks this week, that plus the injuries he has dealt with he had no players on his bench he could play this week, so I guess his team is out on the field… Derek, eve
