Two Weeks Away!!!

In this crazy year of 2020 things don't seem normal at all. Things you normally look forward to are not really happening and as MLB NBA and NHL attempt to either finish their season or start and finish their season we are all waiting for the NFL to have their season and what they come up with. Like the MLB they are plaining to still have home and away games and travel. Unlike baseball they do not play every day and there would be time before and after each game for everyone on a team to be tested before going to their next city.  Of course also unlike baseball, football has a lot more physical contact. The preseason is already cancelled, which doesn't mean much except for the players who use it to get a job on their team. So why we don't know if the season will be able to start on time or at all, and if it does start, will it be able to finish. With all this being said it is hard to get truly excited for fantasy football, as a day that is usually one of my favorites of the year, DRAFT DAY!, is just two short weeks away from today and I have not begun any draft prep at all.

I can report however at this time that ESPNs new Play by Play man on Monday Night Football Steve Levy is reporting that Jennifer & Ronny have announced their three keepers for the 2020 season that hopefully will start and finish. Derrick Henry will be kept in the 3rd round, while Aaron Jones will be kept in the 6th round and finally Charger wide out Mike Williams will be kept in the 9th round.

WE'RE BACK!!!!!! WEEK 7 PREVIEW

 It feels so good to be back, after the writers' strike ended, we had to come to terms with a new contract. There were some members of the staff who wanted more money and others of us who just wanted to get back to doing what we love. Well, it took three weeks, and all is now right in the world again. the NCAA is still chasing Jim Harbaugh, and 9 of the 10 teams are still believing they have a chance at the playoffs going into week 7, while the other is forced to spend their weekends at karaoke bars singing Sweet Caroline. So, let's get right into it, shall we. You have all waited long enough.  4-2 Hootie World Tour part Deux (126.49) vs. 4-2 Tiricoooooooooo (113.74)  An early semifinal preview perhaps? As #2 takes on #3, Hootie is projected to win but does Run CMC play? Minnesota is one of three stadiums still known for the worst turf, does the 49ers risk it? They have to think they can win without him, but the question is, can Jason, and whoever this Chris person is, win this

Week 9 Preview

 A terrible 1-4 week last week, going to a disappointing 3-7 so far on the season. Congratulations to Sloney on his first win of the season, making every team within 2 games of the playoffs. So with that being said, let’s get to it. Big week of football kicks off this evening and we do have some great games in the NFL, and then maybe a few not so great.  6-2 Hootie’s 2023 World Tour (113.09) vs. 3-5 Mrs. Potts (113.46)  Basically a coin flip, 50-50 for this one. Should be a great matchup throughout. Neither team has anyone going tonight but the Sunday morning game, surprisingly we are giving Germany the game of the weekend, 9:30am will be very important in this one. After 5 total players going across the pond there are still much to be decided and there will be even after the Sunday afternoon games with Hootie having 3 players going Sunday and Monday night. So clearly DP will have the lead and then just have to wait, and hope that the Dolphins don’t make him cry, and scored him enough

Week 8 preview

 A disappointing 2-3 week last week, clearly we are not in mid season form with our picks after a long layoff so hopefully this week will be much better. Going into week 8 and 90% of the league is still thinking playoffs and very much alive. Sadly the one team that isn’t has yet to experience the thrill of victory this season. Let’s get right to the picks, shall we? 4-3 Tiricooooooo (132.77) vs. 4-3 Derek the Great (123.92) 3vs4 in a huge matchup this week. Derek has Cook and Evans going tonight so he will at least have a lead at some point, the question is can he maintain. Tirico does have the biggest position advantage with Kelce vs all other Tight ends, especially if TSwift is in attendance and Uncle Travy’s yards improve by 50 yards a game, and he also has King Henry, against ATL, like that match up. Derek has some guys on paper that should perform, but just too many questions for me, kind of like, what’s Derek doing? Has anyone heard from him since the draft? Stuff like that. Tiri
