Week 1 Preview

After a long off season, finally, finally, the NFL season is back. As tomorrow night, Thursday the 9th, the season kicks off with the defending NFL champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers getting 73 points against the Cowgirls of Dallas. With that in mind, it is time to preview our week 1 match ups. Best of luck to all this season.

BMR 136.08 vs. Tiricooooooooooooooooooooo 137.60

I think we are all hoping that Best Man Robb has a nice bounce back year and re takes his rightful place as the runner up in this league. The problem for me, he is starting a Eagle at QB, so it will be hard to pick him to win this one. Also going against Brady, starting tomorrow, though BMR does have Godwin tomorrow as well. He is hoping Run CMC stays healthy and has a big year and gets Robb back in the playoffs. The real question, will the course of Diggs be lifted? BMR will also be torn as Tirico will be starting KC's number one wide out, though Tirico is also starting Nick Chubb so BMR will hope that KC defense can hold him in check. This is a tough one, but I have to go with the curse being lifted, and BMR win a close one 140 to 134.

Bambino 131.18 vs, King Derek 133.44

The defending champ, thanks a lot Kamara you A hole, starts his quest to repeat taking on our one and only Cuba Gooding Jr. look a like Santino. Santino has his own King Derek as he goes against King Derek in a very close potential match up. However, how can this be a close match up when Santino is starting Mr. Football's close and personal friend Josh Allen, the greatest QB of all time. Murray should have a nice year too and Gus Edwards will be running a lot in Baltimore. Both teams have Thursday Sunday and Monday players going so this one may go right down to the wire on Monday night. I have to go with Derek Henry, who should still be on my team, if rules were not changed, but I will move on at some point... just not today. Also fun the two teams defenses are going against each other, so that's always fun. Santino gets a CLOSE 135-133 win.

DP 136.90 vs. Rite Aid 144.38

Projections has the man formally known as the Dean with the win here but DP still hasn't picked up a kicker, so his line up is not eligible at this time anyway. Once he picks up any kicker at all the potential score will be even closer. Ryan also has almost as many guys on the IR then he does playing. He also took the Comish's love child Russel Wilson Jr III and I feel punishment will be coming his way because of that. Of course DP has two cowboys in his lie up, so Michigan's favorite Athletic Director is not helping his cause with me either. However, the deciding factor is DP's team name. Got to give Ryan a hedge here 141-130.

Mr. Football 139.43 vs. Rykers "Last Dance" Island 125.57

Last season, Sloney was too worried about Brazil/US relations to care about fantasy football. This year he has promised will be different. Dustin is sadly in his final season with us, but I think he is going to fight to the very end and go out with a BANG (DDP reference) Between Barkley, Jefferson and Discount Double Check, I really like his team. On the other end Sloney has the balls to start Dak... How dare you sir!!! Projections are wrong here. Rykers Last Dance starts with a 130 to 122 win.

Jennifer & Ronny 133.63 vs. G-Money 141.23

Having a defense and QB going Monday, J&R should not give up too soon this week, though Greg has is tight end going Monday as well. I just don't think J&R have the heart to beat the Comish. Greg's WR core is amazing... and Mr. Cook will run all over his former team's manager and the mighty Bengals of Cincinnati for an easy win. I mean when you have Golladay saying in public, the offense is behind and will probably start slow that is not a great sign. If Jennifer & Ronny couldn't win with Henry, Cook and Jones, they sure can't win with just Jones. Greg wins big 145-122.
