Week 8 Preview

A disappointing 2-3 last week drops our season record to a barely average 19-16. Week 8 is here which is kind of a fun week with only two bye teams, but it’s KC and the Chargers so still lots of teams had to juggle line ups, much like Derek juggles balls in his mouth… just checking if he reads it…  speaking of our former King Derek he is sitting a top in first at 5-2 at the moment, with Sloney, DP, Hootie, and BMR all at 4-3, while G-money, Tirico, Bambino and Steve are at 3-4 and the Wiseman is at 2-5 focused more on buying containers. Let’s get to it!

DP 4-3 (131.17) vs. BMR 4-3 (132.56)

The match up of the week for sure, not only is it two 4-3 teams going after it and the projections are so close, now that DP was nice enough to change his line up and put Jefferson back in and his bye players out, but also this match up has at least one player going in all the 6 time slots for the week, tonight, Sunday 930, Sunday 1, Sunday 4, Sunday night, and Monday night! So this one should be fun for the next four days. Sources say DP may even send a message or perhaps even 2 on the group chat during this huge match up. I am going to give a slight edge to Best Man Robb here, first we all know he is not just the better man he is the best man, and 2nd, he is Brazilian lady hot winning 3 weeks in a row. Also putting Hurts back in, DP will not get double Dolphin points and BMR survives with a 140-138 win.

Tiricoooo 3-4 (134.14) vs. The Commish 3-4 (128.62)

This is another great match up of teams with the same record that is predicted to be very close. This one should down to Monday night and I just can’t see Boyd putting up close to 30 points again, add that plus G-money is sitting the starter and playing the back up in Dallas, and I just feel young Matthew has enough to get it done this week, though playing 2 WR in the 930am Sunday game that is Jags/Denver may not work out great, but I am still sticking with Tirico 125-120.

Bambino 3-4 (103.78) vs. The Hootie World Tour 4-3 (114.91)

This matchup also has a player going in all 6 time slots so this one could go back and forth a lot over the next 4 days. Both still drinking the Kool-Aid I see as we have the Lions QB and back up RB against the Lions starting RB… plus just too many Denver offensive players in this one. Chris is getting the ugly win, 110-100.

Mr. sports Emmy 4-3 (135.06) vs. The Wiseguy 2-5 (116.61)

Ryan has lost 3 in a row and is starting to show signs of throwing it in for the year. Even though it is much too early to do that, especially with added playoff teams. Either have players going Monday night so it will be over after Sunday nights game, if not before. Sloney has a tough week with Patty on bye but his one week pick up of DJ that’s my DJ will work out well. Daniel has been using those legs and is actually starting to get some NFL wide outs back, even with trading last year’s first round pick today, it is clear it was a bad fit for all involved and a fresh start was needed. Jer wins this 140-110.

King Derek 5-2 (139.88) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 3-4 (136.48)

If Jennifer & Ronny can keep it close after tonight, meaning Gus Edwards needs to have a big game and Lamar and Fournette do not, then maybe this can stay close until Monday night when it would be Mixon vs Higgins. But with Rodgers and Aaron Jones going to Buffalo Sunday night they both will not hit their projections and Derek will easily coast to a 6-2 record and a nice win 140-131.
