WE'RE BACK!!!!!! WEEK 7 PREVIEW

It feels so good to be back, after the writers' strike ended, we had to come to terms with a new contract. There were some members of the staff who wanted more money and others of us who just wanted to get back to doing what we love. Well, it took three weeks, and all is now right in the world again. the NCAA is still chasing Jim Harbaugh, and 9 of the 10 teams are still believing they have a chance at the playoffs going into week 7, while the other is forced to spend their weekends at karaoke bars singing Sweet Caroline. So, let's get right into it, shall we. You have all waited long enough.

4-2 Hootie World Tour part Deux (126.49) vs. 4-2 Tiricoooooooooo (113.74)

An early semifinal preview perhaps? As #2 takes on #3, Hootie is projected to win but does Run CMC play? Minnesota is one of three stadiums still known for the worst turf, does the 49ers risk it? They have to think they can win without him, but the question is, can Jason, and whoever this Chris person is, win this matchup without him? Christain Kirk gets this matchup going tonight, coming off of five double digit point weeks in a row, so things are looking good for Tirico for the upset. Not so fast sweetheart. While it is fun having Stafford and Goff playing against each other in this matchup, I am giving the edge to Stafford based on the defensive matchups. Both are playing strong AFC North defenses, but one is at home, the other on the road, that will be the difference as Stafford shows he "only wants to be with you" to lead Hootie to the win 120-115.

3-3 The Commish (133.27) vs. 3-3 Former King Derek (108.58)

Fresh off making some big trades, the man with a heart he was not born with, showed it at least is working as he was not going to just stand back and wait for one of the other 3-3 teams to make a move, he drew first blood getting Patty and Mr. Diggs. This is another big matchup with two 3-3 teams who have lots of talent and have two outstanding gentlemen as their managers. Mahomes vs Howell may be one of the biggest QB mismatches this league has seen for a long time. Especially playing against the Giants defense, who actually looked like a professional defense against the Bills on Sunday night, of course they don't have coaches who use to coach for THE WASHINGTONS, so that may hurt. Either way, after just ending the strike and then signing a new contract to continue to be the writing staff for this league for the next three years, with a Commish option for a 4th, we don't want to make him made. So Greg wins 140-120.

5-1 Bambino (116.37) vs. 3-3 Best Man Robb (117.03)

Lawrence is playing and both members have some Jags offense going in this one, as Taylor and Etienne against Engram. Both also have good defenses matchups this week, Santino with 49ers against the mess that is Minesota and BMR with THE WASHINGTONS who have the Giants who have not scored an offensive touchdown in 205 minuets of game action. This should be a really close matchup all through the weekend. Royally Screwed seems to be the opposite of that so far, and we at the writing staff believe it will continue. Santino wins 125-122.

3-3 The Wiseguy (126.97) vs. 2-4 DP's Lesbian Wife (114.44)

DP could get right back into the thick of things with a win here. Dylan gets off to a start right away here with Kamara and Mike Thomas while Mr. Hathaway has Calvin Ridley going this evening as well. All eyes will be on Sunday night with this one, as that will be what it comes down to. Though just in case he needs to come from behind Ryan does have two going on Monday night as well. Speaking on things that are being taking from behind, Leslie's Beard does like it from behind we have been told. Either way, Rite Aid Ryan goes to 4-3 and gets a 124-120 win.

3-3 Jennifer & Ronny (111.45) vs. 0-6 Back 2 Back Sports Emmy's (107.18)

Jennifer & Ronny lucks out with Sloney getting rid of Patty and Diggs, just in time for this matchup. So you would think, with a 0-6 record, Jer is worried about all the other things he does, like his girlfriend, and win sports Emmy's but, for the second time.... NOT SO FAST! Sloney picked up Geno, who has been very good the last year and half, and that will continue as they play the Cards. Aaron Jones also should be back against the train wreck that is Denver. Add all those things up, I think we all know what is going to happen. Right as Sloney trades away his people, including top 3 RB Alexander Mattison, he is going to start winning. Hilltop Creepers with the win 115-107.
