Week 3 Preview

A little better week last week, as we went 3-2 in our picks, bringing our season record to 5-5. Not terrible, but you would like to do better than 500. Week 3, let's get right to it.

The Hootie World Tour 0-2 vs. Santino 1-1

Well maybe Bambino knew what he was talking about with his team's name, as we went from scoring 179 points in week 1 to 85 in week 2. In week 3 he gets a team 0-2 that really needs a win and is projected to get one. Neither team has a player going tonight, though both have QBs going on Monday night, but not against each other, as there are two Monday night games this week. Nabers showed he will be the main focus on the Giants offense as he had 18 targets for the game last week at THE WASHINGTONS, catching 10 for over 120 yards and a score, and at Cleveland should be tarted close to as much. Burrow needs a bounce back game and Cinci needs a win as they this week host THE WASHINGTONS, and I expect a big week from him. Santino does have the greatest QB of all time of course in Josh Allen, but that will not be enough. Hootie wins 120-110, but don't feel bad for Santino, I mean the guy is in Hawaii, he doesn't care about football much this week.

Back2Back Emmy's 1-1 vs. Derek 0-2

Another matchup of 1-1 team vs a 0-2 team needing a win, but this one does have players going this evening. Sloney has the J-E-T-S- Jets Jets Jets defense against the Pats, while Derek has there #1 RB Breece Hall. So, Derek should have a lead after tonight. Sloney also has two players going on Monday night, so Derek should have a lead after tonight, and after Sunday night, and then see if he can hold on for a win after two MNF games. With a Chase and a Kincaid TD in separate games on Monday, I believe the man that works for the Mothership will in fact do that and Sloney gets the win to sadly drop Derek to 0-3, 125-122.

DP 1-1 vs. The Commish 0-2

In our last of three 1-1 vs. 0-2 matchups the man in charge of the greatest fantasy football league around is a surprising 0-2 and the T word has already been thrown around with some players close to being on the block. This is obviously way too early for this kind of talk, but you definitely do not want to go to 0-3 on the season. G-Money has Stevenson going tonight so he is hoping for a great start to his week. The Jets defense will definitely gear up to stop the run however, and I believe that will fear some trouble for are fearless leader. For DP, the other front runner for Offensive rookie of the year, besides Nabers, Marvin Harrison Jr, went from less than ONE fantasy point to 30! Playing the Lions in week 3, most members of this group are going to want him to not have that big of a week this week, but they are playing in the desert so we shall see how that goes. It is also time for the Ravens to use King Henry a lot more as they need a win in Dallas. Two games under 20 fantasy points are definitely not what Greg was looking for with having Daylights coming and you got to Mahomes but sadly though I do think he will score over 20 this week at Atlanta Sunday night, it will not be enough, as The Commish goes to 0-3 and DP gets the win 120-116.

BMR 2-0 vs. Tiricoooooooooo 1-1

With the injuries he has had to start the season, it is a great accomplishment for Best Man Robb that his team is currently 2-0. Though he has scored the 8th most points in the league. Tirico on the other hand, despite the 1-1 record has scored the most. So that what is making Tirico the favorite going into this matchup. Hunter Henry for BMR is the only guy going for either team tonight, so Robb should be up after tonight, it just may not be by as much as he would like. If it is close going into Monday Night, you have to like Etienne to outscore Tyler Bass, but with the way some of these kickers have been kicking 50 yard plus FGs so far, that isn't it for certain. Having the Red Rocket throwing to him now could help Diontae Johnson to have a nice game, but it is still the Panthers, who have not held a 4th quarter lead for a snep of any play in the last 20 games. Too much fire power for Tirico and he gets the win making both of these teams 2-1, 130-118.

The Wiseguy 2-0 vs. Jennifer & Ronny 2-0

In the one matchup between 2-0 teams, it is very clear that everyone knows Rite Aid Ryan will be 3-0 after this week. Derek Carr was picked up by J&R after two big games, but now they are playing Phili, coming off a loss, so he is going to do poorly, then you have Hill who without Tua will be a shell of himself. They also have some decisions to make at the flex positions and even RBs depending on Jones and Walker's availability so when you factor all those things in, this should be a nice easy week for the former Dean. Garrett Wilson gets the party started tonight for Ryan as he will have a lead wire to wire in this one. As mentioned before, the Ravens need a win in Dallas, so Lamar will step up, Jefferson is healthy and scores no matter who is throwing him the ball, and just in case it is needed, James Cook will score against the Jags on Monday night. Ryan wins the matchup of the week, easily, 140-110.

Sleeper Moment:

Steve over Derek

Sloney over Vickers

BMR over Santino

Ryan over DP

Tirico over Greg
