Meet the League-Part 3

Today we continue our Meet the League series with the one and only Jeremy Slone, better known simply as Sloney or as I call him Mr. Football. Sloney remembers playing fantasy football on a website called sandbox.com which he thought was around 97 or 98. Sloney is a former champion in the league and currently is sitting at number 3 on the all time wins list, behind just Tirico and Greg.

Sloney's team name is Hilltop Creeper which comes from a news story he saw when in the worst state in the union, Ohio, when the draft was held at the residence of Best Man Robb. It was a story about a peeping Tom in the area and that's what they were calling him, due to Sloney's constant behind the scenes creeping pictures he takes while working on location for the mother ship the name definitely fits him.

Sloney lists the Detroit Lions as his favorite team with some rooting interest in the Buffalo Bills. For starters, he did intern there and also they now have Josh Allen, someone who Sloney got to share a meal with him and his hot as crap girlfriend while in Wyoming for the mother ship. Mr. Football is a little sad that the Bills gave up on the best quarter back in the League for the past two seasons Tyrod Taylor however, but he says he will rebound.

Sloney has the gift of two children with his wife Lacy, a 16 year old son and a 12 year old daughter. Interestingly enough sources are reporting that before Sloney and Lacy got together, Lacy use to date Dylan Patterson, meaning that besides having a brother in his league, Sloney may also have an Eskom brother as well in DP.

Sloney said that if he was a hot dog and was starving he would not totally eat himself but he would nipple on the tip. Sloney has a great inside advantage in the league due to him being Mr. Football and basically single handedly putting together the entire ESPN show NFL Live each and every day during the football season. He also loves to go to Boston Red Sox games so he can sing his favorite song, Sweet Caroline....

Week 5 Preview

 A 2-3 week last week has left the writing staff with a 11-9 record on the season, need to do better. Our first week that byes come into play, so let's get right to it.  Bambino 1-3 Vs Derek 0-4 Can Derek finally get a win, he has a 70% chance as of now from the best fantasy site in the world. Of course, that may have to do with Santino still having two guys on byes in his lineup. Both have players going tonight with Evans and Pitts, I think Derek takes a lead and he does not give it up. He finally gets his first win, 120-110. Hootie world tour 2-2 Vs. our Fearless leader 0-4 Speaking of guys trying to get there first win, our Commish is winless, and guess what, he stays that way. None have anyone going tonight and Hootie does have to worry about Nabers and his concussion if he will play, but as sad as it is to say, G-Money's team is not good, maybe fantasy has passed him by, he is like our Jerry Jones. Week 3 Preview

 A little better week last week, as we went 3-2 in our picks, bringing our season record to 5-5. Not terrible, but you would like to do better than 500. Week 3, let's get right to it.  The Hootie World Tour 0-2 vs. Santino 1-1 Well maybe Bambino knew what he was talking about with his team's name, as we went from scoring 179 points in week 1 to 85 in week 2. In week 3 he gets a team 0-2 that really needs a win and is projected to get one. Neither team has a player going tonight, though both have QBs going on Monday night, but not against each other, as there are two Monday night games this week. Nabers showed he will be the main focus on the Giants offense as he had 18 targets for the game last week at THE WASHINGTONS, catching 10 for over 120 yards and a score, and at Cleveland should be tarted close to as much.
