Meet the League-Part 7

Today in our 7th edition of ten in our meet the league series we take a look at Robb, better known as Best Man Robb, or simply BMR. BMR has been playing fantasy football since the late 90's, he was invited to a league by our fearless commissioner  Greg, and instantly got obsessed. BMR likes the Lions but is also a big Kansas City Chiefs fan. Thus why his team name has to do with one Kareem Hunt, who made BMR climax many times last season, and due to our keeper rules, will be able to make Robb climax for some years to come.

Besides of course Barry Sanders, and the late great Derrick Thomas, BMR lists the Nigeria Nightmare Christian Okoye, and Tony Gonzalez as some of his all time favorite players. Off course Mr. Hunt is his favorite player currently, though really Robb likes every player in the NFL besides Desean Jackson, who he hates with a passion.

BMR is married to his wife named Kelly, and to Kareem Hunt in his head. The two have been blessed with two children, Ben, who is 11, and Abby, who is 7. They may live in Ohio, but BMR is raising them right, and they will not consider themselves Ohioans.

When it comes to the hot dog question and if you were starving would you eat yourself, BMR had an answer only a name known as Best Man Robb could come up with. "That is a complex conundrum. Am I transfigured to a hot dog, or am I a man whose composed of hot dog flesh? How bad will it hurt?  Or am I delusional to the point where I feel no pain? Do I have ketchup, spicy brown, and sweet relish? Why couldn't I be a bratwurst? So long as I don't have to eat my feet, I would eat myself to survive but not the feet, Feet are disgusting." Beautiful....

BMR has yet to taste the sweet aroma of victory but he is everyone's favorite bridesmaid. BMR has finished runner up four times and finished 3rd on two more occasions. Will this be the year that he finally gets to take that championship trophy home to the worst state in the union or is he destined to be the Buffalo Bills of this League?

 We are back!! football baby, and what a opening weekend, four days of NFL games with some big college games in the middle. And we are back with our predictions, we slacked off last year and in the off season but have worked out a new scheduling agreement and the preview for each week will be posted by Thursday each week. Week 5 Preview

 A 2-3 week last week has left the writing staff with a 11-9 record on the season, need to do better. Our first week that byes come into play, so let's get right to it.  Bambino 1-3 Vs Derek 0-4 Can Derek finally get a win, he has a 70% chance as of now from the best fantasy site in the world. Of course, that may have to do with Santino still having two guys on byes in his lineup. Both have players going tonight with Evans and Pitts, I think Derek takes a lead and he does not give it up. He finally gets his first win, 120-110. Hootie world tour 2-2 Vs. our Fearless leader 0-4 Speaking of guys trying to get there first win, our Commish is winless, and guess what, he stays that way. None have anyone going tonight and Hootie does have to worry about Nabers and his concussion if he will play, but as sad as it is to say, G-Money's team is not good, maybe fantasy has passed him by, he is like our Jerry Jones. Week 3 Preview

 A little better week last week, as we went 3-2 in our picks, bringing our season record to 5-5. Not terrible, but you would like to do better than 500. Week 3, let's get right to it.  The Hootie World Tour 0-2 vs. Santino 1-1 Well maybe Bambino knew what he was talking about with his team's name, as we went from scoring 179 points in week 1 to 85 in week 2. In week 3 he gets a team 0-2 that really needs a win and is projected to get one. Neither team has a player going tonight, though both have QBs going on Monday night, but not against each other, as there are two Monday night games this week. Nabers showed he will be the main focus on the Giants offense as he had 18 targets for the game last week at THE WASHINGTONS, catching 10 for over 120 yards and a score, and at Cleveland should be tarted close to as much.
