32 Teams in 32 Weekdays-Giants

2017 Record: 3-13

A year that Giants fans just will pretend never happened. ODB get hurt in preseason, and then came back early in the year and got hurt again. Of course they won at least 3 games, so they got the 2nd pick and not the first, but that was fine, because Cleveland had the first pick and didn't take the best player in the draft, instead took a QB who will win less than 20 games in his NFL career and will be out of the league before year 5. This let the Giants take Saquon Barkley, a stud of a RB who is just a freak of nature physically and also backed it up on the field. It gives the Giants a true #1 running back, something they haven't had since Tiki Barber and Brandon Jacobs. Since the Giants also added Jonathan Stewart, who should help as well. They paid Nate Solder a lot of money and then drafted Will Hernandez in the 2nd round of the draft to help their left side of the line, moving Ereck Flowers to RT which will hopefully also help him.

Odell will be back, which of course will help a lot because he is very talented and a top 3 WR in fantasy and in football, and Sterling Shepherd is a solid #2. Cody Latimer coming over from Denver, Roger Lewis, Amba Etta-Tawo and Kalif Raymond is the next group that needs one of them, at least, to step up and be good enough at the #3 spot. At tight end Evan Engram had a very good rookie year and will only get better, so tight end is a spot the Giants are good at.

The Giants defense was also terrible last year, as they finished 27th in total fantasy points scored for defenses in 2017. They spent a lot of money in the last two years on the defense, and despite letting JPP and the sparks he brought walk away they did add a good pass rusher in Lorenzo Carter in the 3rd round which will hopefully help the defense. Also a big help would be the offense not having 14 three and outs every game, to actually give them a little bit of a break, so they are not so tired, and thus can not be so sucking this year. Aldrick Rosas and Marshall Koehn will be competing for the Giants place kicking job, neither should be on anyone's fantasy radar.

2018 Predictions: 9-7

I truthfully don't feel great about them winning that many games, but heck I made a bet with Ryan that they will win 8 or more games, so why not. I do think they will be much better  and they do have some winnable games on the schedule, so we will see. As long as its not another year like last season and I should be ok and not have my Sunday's totally ruined.
