2025 Draft Recap

Draft Weekend is over, and from what we have heard from sources and some pictures that have been shared with the writing staff it looks like everyone had a great time. Which is wonderful, because when it is all said and done, that is what it is all about. The fact that the league has been going strong for as long as it has been truly a wonderful thing and a testament to the members in the group. Let's now take a look at each team and how they are looking after the draft. Keeping in mind, we still have some time before the first game and a few managers are known for making some add/drops before game 1.

Hearts of Chaos:

Having the greatest QB of all time, Josh Allen, Sloney's close and personal friend, sure helps, and a WR room of AJ Brown, D V Adams, and G Wilson to start and still have two #1 basically for their bad teams in DJ Moore and Jerry Jeudy we like what Greg did. Robinson, Bucky, Chubbs and Omarion "Orlando" Hampton gives the Comish a very good RB room as well. He definitely looks to get off to a great start in week 1, playing DP, he is a 99% chance of winning right now, which obviously will not change at all when DP actually enters his players into the starting lineup.

Tom & Jerry:

After Greg, we have to go right to his best man Robb. No kicker or D yet, but he doesn't need those, he starts off with a bye week in week 1 anyway and gets an easy win over Jennifer & Ronny, as they may be trouble in paradise, or they are still doing great but just looking ahead to the 2026 draft. QBs of JJ and Dak don't scream confidence but plenty of talent at the skill positions and BMR will make some FA pickups.

Hilltop Creepers:

Closing out the executive board, as they do such a great job for this league is Sloney. No kicker yet for Jer, but surprisingly he went with two QBs. As long as F1 signs his WR core should be very good with Higgins and Mike Evans starting every week they are playing. Jacobs and Pacheco are good RB, and Pollard should get touches in Tennesse to score some points, plus Travis Kelce is not only in the best shape of his life, but clearly with the 12th album coming out for Tswift during the season, he has 12 TDs this year at least.

Cincy Ballzac:

As previously mentioned, DP has yet to put his lineup in since the draft, but he has lots of time still. When he does add those starters, we expect him to look pretty good with St Brown, Hurts, Swifts, Williams and Bowers leading the charge. Aiyuk is a question mark, but it is a move that could really pay off. So could Travis Hunter, who I hear will scores 55.5 points or less away from Brian Thomas Jr this year.

Go Blue:

The Dean has a great core, with Lamar, Brain Thomas Jr, Smith-Njigba, Johnathan Taylor Thomas, and a pair of Juniors, Marvin and Brain. A great kicker, and solid defense, plus big upside guys like Waddle and Pearsall, who both could have big years. Judkins is a big IF for Ryan, as he will not have any chargers from the July 12th arrest for domestic violence, allegedly, the NFL still will do their own investigation, and the Browns have not signed him. When they do, and he plays, he will all but surely be their RB1. He is just being a good former buckeye and having issues with the law.

Golden Gate:

It's hard to not have a good team when you start with three great keepers and then have 10 picks in the first two rounds. Chase and London, two WR1 any day of the week, is amazing, Barkley and Henry is just stupid. Add great value picks like Pickens and Ridley and then guys we really like in Egbuka and Golden and we may just se Golden Gate's name appear on the trophy. Of course, he does need to drop two guys from his bench to get a kicker and a D before week one, but that will short itself out in time.

Mr. Ass:

I love to love them, I love to kick them, I love to shove um, I love to stick um, I love to flaunt them, I love to watch them, I love to pick um, and I'm going to kick um, cause I'm an Ass man! Santino tapped into his inner Billy Gunn for this team name and the writing staff is here for it. Burrow, Jefferson, Worthy, Cook, Montgomery is not a bad core, especially if Loveland has a good year in Chicago, which some have called for him to have. Plus, once Mixon gets healthy that gives him another legit RB1. So maybe he will start off rough, but we all know the best surprises always sneak up from behind.

Guy on the Coaster:

Tircioooooooooo!!!!! Sure, he will have to add an Defense, but a solid team for the face that hunts Jennifer & Ronny on the coasters they got by mistake all those years ago. We feel Nix will have a pretty good year, and Collins, Hill, as long as Tua's head doesn't explode, Gibbs and Conner is a very good core. Plus, he has a kicker that is so good he was attempted to be drafted twice.

Jennifer & Ronny:

Hoping Baker can give this team another strong season, and they are going to need it. One rookie RB, and one older one on a team that may win 3 games all year. Wide outs on run first teams, and one of them being new to the team with a side show circus at QB. If all the 49ers stay healthy this year Kittle should be good for J&R but he may be the lone bright spot on a team destined to not make the playoffs.

Hootie N Blowfish World Tour:

We save the best for last, the defending champs. While the writing staff is sad, they were not flown out to cover the draft in person and verify in person that Chris and Jason are different people there seems to be enough photographic evidence to confirm that is indeed the case. As for the draft, Mahomes coming off a down year, from him, and a SB loss, is going to have a great year, Nabers is one of the best WR in the league and now he has 3 QBs on the roster all better than anyone he had last year, CMC, if he stays healthy, is a guy who can easily be the top scorer RB in fantasy, that would not surprise me at all. Great defense in Denver. Bench has huge upside, when Godwin comes back from his ankle injury, Diggs should have a good year, and Etienne is talented enough to help for a week or two. We feel the defending champs will be right back in the playoffs this year.

Good luck to all teams, we will come to you again right before week 1, for the officially week 1 predictions post.
