Week 8 Preview
Things are really starting to heat up in the Out of the Sandbox league. We have 4 teams at 4-3, and two more at 3-4. In week 7 we went 2-3 to make our season record to 22-13. With that being said lets get right in to the week 8 match ups.
Kareem Myself 4-3 vs. Juicebox Hero 4-3- Two of those four 4-3 teams play this week but these two teams are trending in opposite directions. JH needs to add a kicker, so the projection will get a little closer than 141-23-110.78 but DP will need much more than that to take out everyone's favorite runner up BMR. Goff at home vs the Pack, Thielen at home against the terrible Saints passing D, plus Hunt an Kelce, will be more than enough. KM wins by 18.
Redzone Redemption 3-4 vs. CuzICouldn'tGoFor3 3-4- We had a little trash talking going on via video messages last night between these two and I have to say, I am a big fan of it. Keep it coming boys. Both of these fine man know that this is a must win. You get a win and go to 4-4 and you are very much alive, if you lose and drop to 3-5, you basically need to win out to have any shot at the playoffs. The projections right now has 134.46-125.51 win for our fearless leader. Will Matt Stafford at home against the once great Seattle Defense be the winning formula? With Rivers on a bye, he has no choice. I like our favorite Island picking up the Pats D to go against the Bills, I think that will help him a lot, however, I think Gurley will have a huge game at home against the Packers, and the return of the Mack for the Colts against the sad Raiders will give RR two RB close to 20+ points and that will be enough. Also Ryker asked me to pick him to lose, so I do what I am told, you're welcome. RR wins by 12.
Golden Gate 6-1 vs. Hilltop Creepers 4-3- Derek finally lost last week, and now he has Gordon on a bye and Sloney is coming in needing a win to really put the pressure on the other 4-3 and 3-4 teams. The projection right now has GG winning 136.64-125.38, however HC has their Defense on bye week, so if they can add a defense projected around ten points or so, you can see how close this match up good be. GG starting Winston at QB is just not something I can get behind. A see a two game losing streak for everyone's favorite auto drafter. HC rides Cousins throwing for about 375 yards against the Saints, and good games from Touchdown Brown, David Johnson, Mixon, Reed and Woods to get to 5-3 and look strong in his playoff push. HC wins by 8.
Paulaner Expereince 5-2 vs. InterferingImbeciles 1-6- Tirico has made it well known he is open for business and wants to cut his team for picks next year. One trade as already happened as James White is no longer with the Imbeciles, and you know that will not be the last trade he makes this year before the November 10th deadline. As of right now though he is projected still to win 109.26-96.33, but as soon as Santino changes Matty Ice on his bye week to Big Ben, that will change, and the projections will say just what the final score will say. PE wins by 12.
Jennifer & Ronny 4-3 vs. Kerryon My Wayward Son 1-6- Projections has JR winning, and adding James White, especially this week vs. the Bills should help a lot. But Jennifer & Ronny are riding the hot hand and keeping Russel Wilson Jr. III on the bench, and with Julio on a bye, I see Kerryon putting back in Adams for Agholor, and him having a big game, while Wentz has a bounce back game for the Eagles throwing it to My Ball Zach Ertz and that will help Ryan get a big upset victory on a week where he isn't thinking about fantasy football at all. Kerryon wins by 5.
