The Final Countdown!
Got to love championship week.. the only sad point is it marks the end of another fantasy football season, the good news, I can dropped charter and have like 9 months to get a roku or something to I can watch redzone on PlayStation Vue, in the meantime I will just have you tube live and save a bunch of money while getting some sports channels that I don't even have now playing over $200 a month, for only $50 a month. Yeah.. Anyway, enough about what a rip off charter is and how cable is in big trouble lets get to the match ups for the final week of the season. REMEMBER WE HAVE SATURDAY NFL GAMES THIS WEEK.... Starting with the GRAND DADDY OF THEM ALL!!!!!!!
Greg 136.65 vs. Best Man Robb 123.71
If you take each member and poll them, and they are not allowed to vote for themselves in the finals I believe the match up that most people want to see for the trophy is Greg against Robb. The Comish against his best friend, a man that Greg knows is so much better than him, he asked him to be his best man at his wedding. However the only thing that Robb has not been better at is winning a title. As Greg is trying to become the first member of the three time champs club, and Robb is trying to finally get the job done and no longer play for 2nd. The projections have it pretty close but this is the finals, so lets look at each position break down, as of now (Wednesday afternoon)
QB:
Russell Wilson Jr III vs Punch Face Winston- Arizona is a pretty good match up one would think for Greg and Wilson, but he did have just over 18 points against them the first time they played. Meanwhile Winston goes against the Texas. Early weather reporting is calling for rain in Tampa on Sunday but it is 74 and raining not 34 and raining so it shouldn't be too bad, unless it is monsoon bad.
Advantage: Greg
RB:
Run CMC and Fournette vs. L Bell and J Jacobs
So this isn't even really close on paper, though I will bring you back to a time in pre season when Mr. Bell apologized to all fantasy owners who drafted him last year (me) and promised those who drafted him this year (me again) would win a title. Well here we are, maybe I gave up on him too early, or maybe he is what he is and he is going to get 10-12 points a game because he is on a crap team and is not going to go off for you. He only scored 20 points once all year, that was week 1. Though it does seem to good to be true. Fantasy finals and Bell is playing the Steelers.. I mean come on. In saying all of that, yeah give me Run CMC for life.
Advantage: Greg
WR:
Kupp and Edelman vs. Thielen and Parker
Oh good old throw to Parker you must... a one time team name of yours truly. Like four years ago. I always knew the kid was going to make it. Then there is Thielen or the Vikings Wide out I don't have. Kupp and Edelman get more targets and thus should get more catches and points.
Advantage: Greg
Tight End:
Hooper vs. Kelce
Easy lay up for Kelce and BMR here, though Sunday night at Chicago is a much tougher match up then home against the Jags but, come on.
Advantage: Robb
Flex:
K Allen vs. D Singletary
Allen vs. Oakland much better match up then the Bills playing in New England, Saturday game btw.
Advantage: Greg
Kicker:
Butker vs. Tucker
I believe Tucker is better but BMR loves KC so he supports Butker too.
Advantage: Robb
Defense:
Denver vs. Pats
No question Pats D is better and have been scoring big points all year. But Denver is playing the Lions, so that means...
Advantage: Greg
Sorry BMR, #playingfor2nd. Greg wins by 12.
For the rest:
3rd Place:
DP 134.88 vs. Mr. Football 114.40
Projections has this as a 20 point win for DP, but I don't see it. I don't like a lot of his players match ups and he is going to be too worried Friday night about the big basketball game his Maroon Giants are playing against Scooby Johnson and Benton Harbor to focus on fantasy football. Sloney takes 3rd and wins by 5.
5th Place:
Santino 124.25 vs. Derek 120.67
Revenge tour trying to make one last stop but King Derek is still our reigning champ for one more week and will close out the 2019 season with a win. Kamara Gordon and Barkley ride him off to the sun set. Derek wins by 10.
7th Place:
Tirico 114.59 vs. Steve 113.63
Tirico the Schwanda Killer gets another chance in the battle for 7th place. The winner gets the 3rd pick while the looser gets the 4th, so this is a very important match up as well. Steve is going for the spot FitzMagic Start in hopes for some magic one last time. Still sad that he didn't play the Giants D last week, cause he would have won, he is playing them this week against THE WASHINGTONS. You can't let one loss turn in to two. That is what is happening here. Tirico gets the win and the 3rd overall pick. Matthew wins by 8.
In Horses Ass News:
Ryan scored a bunch of points last week, like over 170, which was the most points scored last week. And this week he is projected 124.10 to Rykers 110.64. Looks like the shelf with OSU stuff is about to have some company. Make room for the Horses Ass on Rykers Island. Ryan wins it by 30 or so overall, maybe more.
