2020 draft review

 Draft day is over, and we are getting ready for the season. We had some fun, fell in love with Jackie, and now we prepare for the NFL season that hopefully not only begins on time but also ends. So let's take a look at how each team did.

The Dean: 

Draft recap: Having three first round picks, and keeping some good talent, you would think Rite Aid would come away with a really good team. After drafting Run CMC first of course, he went rookie rb and Julio Jones next in the first. He then took Kelce in the 2nd to basically finish his starters. Lamar, CMC, Sanders, Adams, Julio,  and Kelce. Having Edelman, M Brown and Allen, as more WR depth as options is nice too I guess. 

Season Predictions: Is it time for another member of the Three-Time Champ Club??? NO, it is not. 

Rykers Island:

Draft Recap: Getting Barkely brings a class to his team made up usually of Ohio State cheaters that should help him this season. I think between Bell and Gordon, one of them will be worthy of a RB2, and Cooper and Metcalf gives him some nice WR talent to go with Ju JU on that beat. He also drafted who Mr. Football calls the greatest QB of all time, so you have to like that.

Season Predictions: I think the Island will have a successful season, but just miss the playoffs.

Jennifer & Ronny:

Draft Recap: Taking Cook, Golladay, ODB, and Andrews early the team was done, minus a starting QB, which was waited on till the 11th round, 3rd to his last pick, to get Drew Brees, who has been a great QB in fantasy for a long time, so why not roll the dice one more time. Brees, Cook, Henry, Galladay, ODB, A Jones and Andrews looks good on paper.

Season Predictions: Lose a lot early, trade pieces, finish around 500.

Tirico!!!!

Draft Recap: He started off by drafting a terrible human being, Zeke, then broke Steve's heart taking Allen Robinson one pick before he was going to, leading to one of our favorite things in life, a Derek and Steve trade. He also took Diggs away from BMR, which was mean. 

Season Predictions: Hopes to get his Horses Ass Trophy back. Wonder who he will trade Zeke too.

Santino:

Draft Recap: Hopkins has something to prove, Ingram is dangerous, Santino must always have TY Hilton, and he added My Ball Zach Ertz to go with his Frank Gore of his Nick Chubb. 

Season Predictions: Hold on to that Horses Ass Bambino! 

Derek:

Draft Recap: Derek is never one to stay quite during the draft, and loves the trades. He made a few, as he is use to do, though his biggest move was before the draft picking up K Drake as a RB keeper. He also of course has Kamara  so you would think he will at least be competitive. 

Season Predictions: A think it will be a re grouping year for Derek, he'll make some moves and prepare for 2021. I think he misses the playoffs.

DP:

Draft Recap: Without a first round pick, especially with the keepers, it is tough, that leads to you drafting Gurley first, then go young, with J Taylor next. Will the 4,343 carries he had each year at Wisconsin be too much wear and tear on him already? time will tell. He is also rocking Gronk, and took Discount double check, for his back up QB, since he has Mahomes. So that could be trade bait later on.

Season Predictions: I don't see Mahomes having a year like last year, DP misses the playoffs.

Mr. Football:

Draft Recap: His draft was trash to me for one reason, he drafted at every single pick he was scheduled to draft, in every round.. no trades at all... just terrible jer. I don't like Mixon this year, or Evans (WR2 on his own team) who knows the role swift will have, basically his team has a lot of question marks, but I think I know why.

Season Recap: He either has inside info, knowing the season will not end and we will just re draft in 2021, or,between the relator, booty, brazil relations, and others his head is not focused on fantasy football this year. He misses the playoffs, but doesn't care even a little bit, he is still winning! 

BMR:

Draft Recap: KC nation is shocked and upset at him drafting a Raider, WITH HIS FIRST PICK. It's a sad day for sure. But I am sure somehow people will forgive him.

Season Predictions: I have no idea how, cause I don't like his team at all, just absolute junk, but its BMR, so due to his amazing fantasy skills, he will make the playoffs, win in the semis finals and then lose in the finals to finish 2nd.... AGAIN.

G-Money the Comish:

Draft Recap: Going to roll the dice with Fournette and took his normal TE pick of Evan Engram. The Ravens D is good, and Robbie Anderson is a very talented WR when he isn't getting arrested, and he has the great Russel Wilson Jr III running the show, so that should give him a chance, but the three-time, three-time, three-time champ may be out of the playoffs this year.
