Finals Preview
Here we go... the final week of the fantasy football season. After a 4-1 week, our season record has moved to 45-30. So, let's get right to it.
Horses' Ass:
Rykers Last Dance Island 117.87 projected vs Jennifer & Ronny 103.85 projected
Jennifer & Ronny after a 13-1 season with nothing to show for it, followed that up with a 1-13 season and now will get a trophy, a one that no one wants. Ryker has a 53.48 lead after week 1 of the two-week matchup so the trophy is all but J&R's.
Quickly, I would just like to say how much Dustin Ryker and his entire Island will be missed in this league. I don't know who the executive board will get to try to replace Ryker's, but I am sure I will not like him at all, and he will be zero fun. Hopefully, whoever he, or I guess she, will be is bad at fantasy football so Jennifer & Ronny can find someone they can beat.
Consolation Bracket:
Derek 115.50 vs. Mr. Emmy 113.44
Mr. football Sports Emmy US Ambassador to Brazil has yet to add a kicker and once he has his projections will be over our defending champ, for one more week. However, I feel that Patterson, Kamara, who has a habit of scoring lots of points in the last week of the fantasy season I hear, JACKASS, will help Derek get the win to end his season. Derek wins 120-115.
BMR 114.84 vs. Tiricooooooooooooooo 135.45
Best Man Robb can still celebrate his D2 National Title, because his goal of getting runner up, or even his money back will not be coming true this year. I really like Tirico's team, just had some bad luck, as most teams have at some point in this season and will look to rebound next year after a 500 season. Matthew with the win 140-128.
3rd Wheel:
G-Money 143.05 vs. Wiseguy 130.85
We will see if Kelce plays, since that would be a major blow for Rite Aid. Speaking of major blows.... professional Segway here, and really, I have no joke here, I forced it and I'm sorry. Anyway, our Comish almost rode Cooper Kupp all the way to the finals but came up just short. I do believe as a lovely parting gift however, Greg will get the 3rd wheel trophy, that we do not have, and finish in 3rd place and get his money back. Greg wins 145-138.
Tital Game:
Bambino 113.92 vs. DP 147.75
It all comes down to this. DP has been rolling all season long and after 13-1 season, when his team is as good as it is, there is no way he doesn't win. What could possibly go wrong? This would never happen in fantasy football. DP could start his bench and still win this one. It has not been since week 7 that he lost. When DP tried to come onto Rykers Island, and Dustin said, no chance in hell. Could lighting strike twice? No, Dylan, our favorite Maroon Giant, who play at Van Andel Area on the 30th, for those of you on the west side of the state, gets the trophy he deserves. Not helping Santino is the covid and injury situation with his team, but I know, you know, and we all know, he will not quit. However, it will not matter. DP wins 155-125.
