Week 7 Preview
Went 3-2 last week to make our season record 17-13. The League still is looking great with three 4-2 teams, four 3-3 teams and three at 2-4, so while we are getting closer no 2023 draft prep is happening just yet, (though some moves already may have) as all teams can still make the playoffs, and no team will be the Pistons or Wings and go 82-0 or 81-0-1 respectively since everyone has at least two losses. But enough about that, let’s get right into the matchups
Week 7 Byes: Bills, Rams, Eagles and Vikings
Mr. Sports Emmy 4-2 (138.87) vs. BMR 3-3 (113.27)
Both have won two games in a row, and both are dealing with some keep players out on bye week, and both have one player going tonight. BMR has TE/QB Taysom Hill while Sloney has the returning Mr Hopkins. Should be advantage Slone in that one. The only thing that is giving Jer an edge here is Robb is starting the 49ers defense against his beloved Chiefs… so not sure if he is throwing in the towel on this one, going for a reverse jinx or what, especially with Sloney having Patty Myhomie has his QB to score points against that defense. In the end, No Cook, No Davis this week, BMR is taking the L. Sports Emmy Slone with the 135-120 win.
DP 4-2 (105.62) vs. The Hooter World Tour 3-3 (122.72)
The projections are not up to date really as DP still needs to put in a kicker and a defense playing so once that happens the projections will be much closer. Both managers also have key players on bye this week but DP is getting a nice boost with Tua coming back for Sunday Night. Neither team have anyone going tonight, nor Monday night at this time, so we will know the winner before going to bed Sunday evening, or first thing Monday for those that turn off the tv to go have some alone time after Carrie’s done singing. DP seems to be on fire right now winning 3 games in a row, that becomes 4. DP with the 140-133 win.
Bambino!!! 3-3 (106.83) vs. the former King Derek 4-2 (139.90)
Santino has won two in a row, Derek has lost two in a row. Both streaks end at once. Just bad luck for Santino and good timing on when to play him for Derek. With the best QB of all time and Jeremy’s close personal friend Josh Allen on bye, Santino’s team is kind of on one too. They do have my ball zack ertz and the Saints D going tonight plus Denver’s best Offensive weapon, McManus not Judy to be clear, going Sunday night but Derek counters with Kamara, and then got more RB help thanks to a trade. Add that all up and Derek wins 145-120
Tirico 2-4 (136.78) vs. The Wiseguy 2-4 (110.72)
Ryan has some bye and injury issues this week, and trading away a starting RB for a WR you don’t have in your line up. So while Rite Aid will get off to a lead after tonight with kyler going, and Tirico just having Lutz, after that it looks like it is all Tirico. This matchup will be decided before Sunday’s night game however as neither team has anyone playing after the 4pm window on Sunday, Tirico has lost 3 in a row… well now its the wiseguy’s turn, he looses his 3rd in a row, as Tirico wins 135-105
The Commish 3-3 (121.71) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 2-4 (147.25)
History has shown Greg will have no problem in this matchup. He controls the career series and that will continue. Jennifer & Ronny has lost 2 in a row and it is about to be 3! G-Money gets off to a big lead tonight with the Saints clear cut #1 WR Chris Olave having a big night tonight in a offensive shootout. Both then have one player going Sunday night and no one Monday so we will soon on this one, like now. We know now! Greg wins easy, 135-115.
