Week 9 Preview

A 3-2 week last week for the writing staff pushes our season record to 25-15, which isn't too bad, but we would like to do better. Still looking for that 5-0 week. So maybe this week will be the week. First a reminder we have all day football on Sunday this week, as we do have a 930am eastern time game to go with our Thursday night, Sunday 1pm, Sunday 405 and 425pm and Sunday night, and of course our Monday night.

Bye Weeks: Steelers and Titans

The Wiseguy 8-0(156.38) vs. 3-Time Sports Emmy winner and United State Senate Recognized Father 7-1 (116.93)

Brought to you by: Sen. Blumenthal to Kash Patel: "You lied to us"

The writing staff would like to thank Senator Blumenthal for recognizing Jeremy Slone for not only his years of dedication at the mother ship but for also being a great father. His mother agreed calling the honor "very much deserved." Neither of his two children could be reached for comment.  As for the matchup, The former Dean shows no signs of stopping and will roll in this one. It may be #1 vs. #2 but it is just another example of the dominance that Ryan has had all year and it will continue. Jer going heavy on Thursday night, so that means he sadly has to watch the Ravens and the Jags play. With Baltimore starting a 3rd string QB. Sloney can sleep in on Sunday though, while Rite Aid will be up watching Burrow throw all over Atlanta, and the Bengals D force a few more picks from MPJr. The Wiseguy has Burden III going Sunday night, but will not even need him this week after JSN in the afternoon. Sloney may get one or two PATs at most from his kicker Monday night but it will be too little too late as Ryan rolls to a 165-120 victory.

The Commish 3-5(134.10) vs. Best Man Robb 2-6 137.66)

Brought to you by: Queen - You're My Best Friend (Official Video)

Always a big matchup when Greg and his best man go at it. Neither have had the seasons they have wanted just yet, but they are both still very much in the playoff picture, so this is a very big matchup. The writing staff feels this will be the closest matchup of the week as well. It also has someone going during every time slot. Tomorrow night, Lawrence and Washington (BMR) and Flowers (Greg), Sunday morning, BMR's kicker and Higgins,1pm, Gordon, Puka, Rice for Robb and Goff, Wilson, Coleman, Lutz and Rams D for Maurice. Then in the 4 O clock window, Jeanty for Best Man Robb and Kraft and Amnerican's Most wanted for the Commish. Then on Sunday night Swift is going for G-Money, while on Monday night, BMR's defense plays. In a matchup so close it is going to come down to defense. We like the Rams matchup against the WASHINGTONS much more than we like Minnesota going against the Bills. Josh Allen and James Cook are going to beat them down. Greg wins 141-139.

King Derek 3-5 (142.88) vs. The Never Ending Hootie World Tour 1-7 (115.54 )

Brought to you by: Fire...sale!

With the C&J Music Factory in full fire sale mode as they look towards the 2027 draft, wherever it may be, Derek gets to swoop in this week and get a big win for him to stay right where he wants to be in the playoff race. This matchup is almost all on Sunday afternoon, besides Hootie's kicker. So before Carrie sings this one will be locked up and Derek will be able to celebrate a win. We do like both of these teams are going with the double tight end line ups, and who doesn't like a tight end? Derek wins 150-125.

Bambino 6-2 113.30) vs. DP 1-7 123.43)

Brought to you by: Greatest Sports Upsets of All Time

Santino has been having a great year so far, and it seems nothing has gone right for DP this year, except at home with his baddie. All things are pointing to Bambino to get another win in this one.........

“Not So Fast Midget” - Lee Corso

DP has a big week from both Williams brothers, St Brown does St Brown things in Maimi, and DP gets another win, as he is not officially out of the playoff race. DP has a good team and has more total points than Sloney, Santino and Tirico so it is only a matter of time before he gets another win, that time will be this week. DP wins 130-123.

Tiricoooooo 5-3 (146.83 ) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 4-4 (141.48 )

Brought to you by: Dennis Green "They are what we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!"

You know it has been a nice run these last few weeks, J&R has had a few wins here in a row, and they starting to get a little bit of faith. The writing staff isn't fooled. The man they call Tirico will make things right again in the world and get a big win. Some may say it is because Warren and Pollard are both on byes this week for Jennifer & Ronny, but the real reason is, they are who we thought they were, and Tirico is going to remind us that all this week. He will do it right away on Sunday morning as well with both Robinson and Brown going against just Chase for J&R. Tirico also has the best QB ever, plus DJ Moore and TJ Hockenson going on Monday night, while Jennifer & Ronny only have Jefferson, so unless they are up by like 60 after Sunday they have no chance. They have no chance. Tirico big 150-124.
