Week 2 Preview

 The Writing staff got off to a solid start on the season going 4-1, and we feel pretty god about that, but week 1 is over and week 2 begins tonight, so let's get right to it shall we. Interesting note, every matchup this week features a 1-0 team vs a 0-1 team. 


Bambino 1-0 (130.50) vs. G-Money 0-1 (130.57)

Super close projections should mean for a very close matchup all weekend long. Santino will get out to a lead tonight with Cook and Laporta going, how big of a lead will depend on if the boss can make a comeback or not. As of now, Santino is going with both bears RBs, (who both are officially listed as questionable right now too) hoping that Flowers will play for him and put up numbers like he did last week before getting hurt. Greg is in an odd spot, because having Lamar Jackson has his QB, he would want Flowers to play because it would give Lamar a much better chance to put up throwing numbers to have at least one good wide out to throw too, but maybe Flowers sits and Lamar just runs it and hands it off. The Comish has the lone player going Monday night in Corum, so if he stays within 10, he would have at least a decent chance of coming back and getting the win. Not sure we can count on that though. Santino builds too much of a lead that Blake can't come back for Greg. Santino wins 138-133. 


The Wiseguy 1-0 (130.93) vs. DP 0-1 (130.68)

Another extremely close projection and should be an exciting matchup. DP will get off to a lead tonight, with St Brown and Kincaid going, and then has Adams and Williams, K going on Monday night, while the former Dean has all Sunday 1 and 4pm games besides the Rams D on Monday night. The good news we have for Ryan is he does not have to stay up late Monday night sweating out that game, the bad news is, that is because he will not have a chance to win and DP will lock up a W early on in the evening. Using the brothers Williams and the Rookie backs as his RBs and flexes gives DP a 140-130 win. 


Best Man Robb 1-0 (132.14) vs. King Derek 0-1 (135.19)

Another matchup that is pretty darn close in the projection. However, that is will Derek starting someone at the moment that is now on IR, so once he benches Mason his % chance of winning will go up even more. The matchup has a lot of prime-time appeal, as it begins tonight with Gibbs and Bates tonight, advantage Derek. Then Sunday night BMR has Rice going and Monday night he has Puka going. We worry that even Puka will not be able to do enough to get BMR all the way back, but it will be very close, and not official until late Monday night. Derek holds on to win 142-139.

Tirico gets off to a lead tonight led by the Josh Allen to DJ Moore combination. Getting the game out of the way so Josh can head to always Sunny Kelly/Shorts Stadium and watch his alma mater face off against the Chippewa's on Saturday.  The C&J Music Factory will get the lead back on Sunday since you have to think Loveland will have to score at least some points this week for that high powered Bears offense. We also like the Seattle D going against the Cards for Team Victory and we see them having the lead after Sunday. Sadly for them, there is a game Monday night and that game has Tirico showing major Flex appeal with Cam Skattebo, which as long as there are no doors that are pull opens, he will have no problem going to LA and getting at least 60 yards and a TD and getting Tirico a win 148-139.


Three Time Emmy Winner 1-0 (123.28) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 0-1 (123.56)

The projection makes the matchup look close but that is only because the Yahoo machine knowns that Jeremy hates it, so it is acting up. Because in reality we know there is no chance Sloney loses this one. Not only does he have three Sports Emmy's to fall back on, besides his overall knowledge and good looks but he has the much superior team. He will go wire to wire, as Bass and Williams, J will give him a lead tonight and then he will not look back. Then Williams, C will have another big game for that Bears offense, and King Henry will do King Henry things and it will be way too much for Jennifer & Ronny, who may have the worst fantasy RBs ever, plus a tight end they chose to keep who scores no points. Going to be a long season for them, if they even pay attention. Sloney wins easy 135-110.

Week 10 Preview

 After going 3-2 last week, the writing staff's record for the season is now 25-20. Though we do feel we should get a little credit in the Santino vs. Tirico match, which we called for a tie at 123.45 and Tirico's actual points was 123.52, so pretty darn close, but Bambino was off by over 30 points for our predictions, so we digress. Let's get right into week 10, where we once again have Sunday football from 930am est till Sunday night.  William & Williams Associates 7-2 (119.60) vs. Hearts of Chaos 5-4 (123.69) This matchup gets going tonight with Bowers playing for DP, and then there is someone in this matchup going Sunday at 930, 1, 4, 820 and Monday night. DP needs to add a kicker still, but once he does the projections will slip back over to his side.
