Week 6 Preview
A disappointing week last week for us, going 3-2, but the writing staff isn't doing too bad on the season, as we now sit at 19-6, which isn't bad. But enough about us, let's focus on the reason the writing staff does this, you guys and your wonderful league, so here is our week 6 preview.
Bye Week: Detroit, Bengals, Miami and Minnesota
Hilltop Creepers 4-1 (109.38) vs. Guy on the Coaster 4-1 (151.0)
Brought to you by: River Cain - Mama’s Boy
Fran Bowl 1 of the season is this weekend, and that makes the writing staff excited. Sadly, for the older, better looking, more popular brother, the injury bug has hit, plus some bye week issues all point towards little bro continuing his dominance over Jer. Jer still needs to add a kicker, but for now, this is a Sunday only matchup with CD being the only player going on Sunday night, so before Carrie sings, this one will be over. Tirico let us down by losing last week when we picked him to win, he will not do it two weeks in a row. Victory for little brothers everywhere, as TIRICOOOOOO wins 155-139.
Go Blue 5-0 (148.03) vs. Puka Mi-Puka-Yu 2-3 (110.34)
Brought to you by: Michigan Marching Band Pregame
Best Man Robb trying to make a comeback and get in this thing, even though right now he is safely in the playoffs. Projections will get closer once Robb plays a defense and kicker, as he has to make some tough add/drop decisions. Either way the buzzsaw that is Rite Aid will continue to roll. JSN going tomorrow night will give him a lead as he will score more points than Harvey and the former Dean will not look back from there. Stevenson will also have a big game with his expanded role and KW3 is off a bye week and ready to roll. Ryan wins 154-138.
Jheri Curl 5-0 (125.39) vs. Golden Gate 3-2 (125)
Brought to you by: New Edition - Candy Girl
Fresh off one of the highest scoring weeks in league history Derek tries to keep it going and give Santino his first loss. But the writing staff counted Santino out last week and we were wrong, and we learned our lesson. Bambino is rolling and cannot be stopped. Sure, he needs to add a tight end, but he has time. As of now, DP and Waddle is the only player going tomorrow night, but they have both defenses in the 930am matchup Sunday, so that is fun. Santino should have a lead after Sunday afternoon, then Derek takes it back Sunday night, only for Run CMC to have a big game on Monday night and Purdy to just stand there and hand it off to him Santino becomes 6-0 with a 138-135 win.
Hootie n Blowfish World Tour 0-5 (93.90) vs. Williams & Williams Associates 0-5 (116.27)
Brought to you by: Trey Songz - Bottoms Up ft. Nicki Minaj [Official Music Video] - YouTube
3 weeks in a row DP has faced off in a matchup with another manager trying to get their first win of the season. Well, you know what they say, the 3rd times the charm. The writing staff writing that sentence is more time than these guys will spend on their matchup. Injuries and bye weeks are making this even harder for C&J Music Facotry as the never-ending world tour may be making some room for a different trophy this year. DP gets the win 120-110.
Jennifer & Ronny 1-4 (123.61) vs. Hearts of Chaos 1-4 (131.57)
Brought to you by: Last Shot Official Trailer | Basketball Movie (2026) Jaime Pressly, Michael Rapaport, Johnny Simmons
J&R had a great week last week and nothing to show for it but another L. This week will be more back to normal for them. Even if Lamar doesn't play for one more week, The Comish has more than enough to beat Americans favorite dysfunctional couple. While Jen and Ron will get off to a lead with Myers going tomorrow, he will not put up 20 plus like last week and that lead will be quickly erased, starting with Cam and his not so little leg across the pond at 930am. Swift and JTT both get TDs as well at 1pm, and Warren and Chuba come back down to earth as Greg picks up an important win for his playoff push. G-Money wins 140-123.
