32 Teams in 32 Weekdays-Patriots

2017 Record: 13-3

Something crazy happened last season, New England was good, and made it to the Super Bowl. I know, that never happens. Shockingly they didn't win the Super Bowl and let Philadelphia finally win one, an event that should never happen and I may never forgive the Pats for this huge sports blunder.

Of course the biggest reason for the Pats being good is their QB is this Tom Brady guy and their head coach is Bill Belichick, who is smart because he of course is the former defensive coordinator for the New York Football Giants. Year in and year out, the players change, but the results have basically stayed the same since Drew Bledsoe got hurt, Brady stepped in, and the rest is history.

This year they are facing a little bit of off the field drama, so much so that the mother ship was forced to send our own Jeremy Slone, Producer extraordinaire, to cover the team's mini camp. Julian Edelman is looking at a 4 game suspension to start the year which will let Jordan Matthews and Chris Hogan step up and get more catches. The Pats added Kenny Britt and Cordarrelle Patterson to go with Malcolm Mitchell and Riley McCarron to add depth to the Pats wide outs.

Of course they have Gronk still, at least now. Though there has been talks about a trade at least being talked about in the off season, but now it looks like he wants to be in New England. besides Rob Gronkowski, the Pats also have Dwayne Allen, who is a very talented tight end in is own right.

The Pats did add Jeremy Hill from the Bengals, to go with Rex Burkhead, James White and Mike Gillislee. Knowing how things work with New England, expect Jeremy Hill to rush for about 1400 yards and have oh, like, 10-12 touchdowns this year.

The Pats defense isn't great, but they are not bad either. They were 13th last season in total fantasy points scored so they usually find their way into fantasy leagues. They did lose their defensive coordinator who is now the head coach for some minor league football team playing out of Michigan, so we will see how that transition goes for them. The Pats do have a great kicker in Stephen Gostkowski who is almost always in the first 3 kickers taking.

2018 Predictions: 12-4

It's really hard to find losses in their schedule. Maybe at Jacksonville, at Pittsburg and either the Packers or KC find a way to beat them in New England. But the Pats will again easily win the division, since the division is a joke, and they will at least make the AFC championship game, though our fearless leader has already publicly went on the record saying he thinks they will struggle this year and be 9-7... so I guess we will see.
