32 Teams in 32 Weekdays-Texans

2017-4-12

Injuries were a big part to that record sure, but the Texans just haven't been able to put it all together again since a few years back when it looked like they were finally going to have that break out season. Deshaun Watson was exciting to watch, before he got hurt, but the wins were not coming with him either. But now he is "light years ahead" mentally then he was at the end of last season according to a "source" so he is becoming a top 3-5 QB taking in fantasy and everyone is happy.. Especially the one and only Mr. Football Jeremy Slone.

If Watson gets hurt again, Brandon Weeden is there to save the day, so rest easy H town. The Texans do have one of the best wide outs in the game in DeAndre Hopkins, who remains a high round pick. Will Fuller and Braxton Miller round out there main wide receivers. In the backfield Lamar Miller is their main RB while D'Onta Foreman showed to be a nice change of past and someone worth keeping an eyes on .

Even though they have a former college tight end on their defensive line, besides a rare red zone chance once or twice a season the Texans main TE is Ryan Griffin and Stephen Anderson. They also used a 3rd round pick on Jordan Akins in this years draft. With the run/pass option of a mobile QB, a decent running game and a top 5 wide out in the NFL the Texans shouldn't suck so bad.

The Texans defense was horrible last season as well, even with JJ Watt getting hurt they still have former top pick in Jadeveon Clowney and they really shouldn't have a bad defense. Last season they finished 28th in total fantasy points scored by defenses, a number that has to go up, A LOT, this season if the Texans want to be competitive again.  Ka'imi Faribairn is listed as their kicker as of now, use that information as you will.

2018 Predictions: 7-9

I have gone back and forth on this if I want to buy in to the hype , or if I want to stay on the Texans are not good train. So I thought, lets just stay right in the middle, I see the Texans definitely being better than last season but still not a playoff team. Somewhere in the 6 to 8 win range. So I thought 7-9 sounds good.
