32 Teams in 32 Weekdays-Vikings
2017 Record 13-3
Even with injuries to the starting and back up QB the Vikings still had a great season last year before losing to the eventual champs in the NFC title game. They have re built that position as they gave Holland native and MSU alum Kirk Cousins a lot of money and brought over Trevor Siemian from Denver to be his back up. Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs gives Minnesota a really nice 1-2 punch in the receiving core, and Laquon Treadwell is big and athletic and has all the tools to be a very good wide out, plus the Viks have Kendall Wright, Stacy Coley and Tavarres King for depth at the position.
Minnesota also has one of the best tight ends in the NFl in Kyle Rudolph, plus they used their 5th round pick for the best pick in the draft, former Northwood Basketball player and CMU football stand out Tyler Conklin. Blake Bell and David Morgan may be ahead of him in the depth chart now but that will not last, you have my word.
Minnesota also has two very talented running backs in Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray, and now they can also back the mack, since they added Mack Brown. A balanced running game, good wide outs, and now a QB who is believed to be better than who they had last season, expectations are high in Minnesota. It is hard to win, but it is even harder to win when people expect you to win.
The Vikings do have a good defense, but I was surprised to see they only scored the 14th most points in fantasy by defenses last season. Either way they are a very solid unit and one that should keep Minnesota in every game they play. Kai Forbath will be doing the kicking again and he is someone that will find his way on to a fantasy team in all leagues this season.
2018 Predictions 12-4
Expectations are high, but for good reason, this team is good, and I do think they will have a good year and win the division but I don't think they can go 13-3 again, it is just too tough to do that. Cousins needs to play well in the playoffs though and come through when it matters the most. If they use Conklin as their back up tight end and another red zone threat they will be fine and win the NFC.
