WEEK 1 Preview
The NFL season is almost officially here. Lets stop talking about off the field issues and focus on what we all love, the actual game, or even more so, the fantasy game based on the actual game. Using the current starting line ups and projections from Yahoo, the only true source for fantasy football, we will preview Week 1 in the 2018 Season of the Out of the Sandbox League.
Kareem Myself 120.99 vs. Hilltop Creepers 131.07
At the current time, Hilltop still does not have a kicker, which needs to change in the next 36 hours, and once that happens that will make him even a bigger favorite going in to week 1. That is if Watson scores the 26 points he is projected against the Pats, and Dress Brees only scores 24.5 against the terrible bucks. Two top 5 RB going at it in David Johnson vs. Kareem Hunt. I think the difference will be at the wide out spot, where Hilltop starts Antonio Brown and Mike Evans. Though Evans scares me because of their QB situation. However I am still giving this one to HC by 12 points.
Tying the Knot 9-21 111.90 vs. InterferingImbecilses 124.70
Fournete vs Zeke is a solid week 1 match up of two top 10 backs. Hyde and McCoy are question marks at the other RB spot, who knows what you will get. Same with Ronny Jones II amd James White, since NE backs can have 150 yards and 3 TDs or 2 carries for 3 yards just as easy. One of these guys has to win, so I guess I will go with TTK to win by 6
CuzICouldn'tGofor3 135.57 vs. Golden Gate 111.70
At this time GG does not have a kicker or a defense, which needs to change here shortly. So after it does it will make the projections much closer. I like our newbie members as much as the next guy but I think the RB duo of Kamara and Gordon, with Drake at flex will let Golden Gate come away with a 8 point win.
Redzone Redemption 118.96 vs. Juicebox Hero 115.54
Speaking of newbies, we have our other newbie taking on our commish. Neither team has a kicker as of right now, which has to change... soon. But this looks lie it will be a great match up. The fighting Jimmy G's takes on Andrew Luck... and Juicebox hero's team which is filled with high risk/high reward guys. Got to give the nod to Aj Green, K Allen, D Cook, E Engram... and of course best player in fantasy Todd Gurley. RR wins by 9
Keep Calm and Kerryon 132.12 vs. Jennifer & Ronny 131.15
This should be a very close match up as these two teams are projected the 2nd and 3rd most total points this week. Besides Carson, and who knows what you get from Seattle, KC&K has a great line up and is the favorite. J&R is solid across the board.. as long as Mr. Bell comes to work. Too much of a question mark there, with not being in camp, got to give Keep Calm a 6 point win here.
