Week 9 Preview

Last week we went a disappointing 2-3 in our picks, to draw our season record to 24-16. There is now one 6-2 team, four 5-3 teams, two 4-4 teams, a 3-5 team, a 2-6 team, and then our defending champ at 1-7. This week we have some great match ups with some big playoff implications, like the four 5-3 teams all playing each other, so let's get right to it.

Golden Gate 6-2 vs. Kerryon My Wayward Son 1-7- Lets get this over with quick. Projections has this a 154.42-124.63 win for GG. If Golden Gate does not win, I believe he should be forced to trade all the players he just picked up. GG wins by 1,434... or like 35.

Redzone Redemption 3-5 vs. Burn it Down 2-6- The fire sale is in full swing, but Tirico won last week. He got ride of Diggs and Watkins, but got two pretty good WR back in Landry and Baldwin. The projections say this will be a easy win for the Comish, 126.27-106.42 as we all agree Gurley against the Saints D can offset any type of FitzMagic that Burn it Down gets. RR wins by 15.

CuzICouldn'tGoFor3 4-4 vs. Juicebox Hero 4-4- This is the one we all have been waiting for. The two newbs battling it out for the title of Out of the Sandbox Rookie of the Year. JH started off strong, but has stumbled as of late. CICGF3 started 0-4 and was looking like he was heading towards the horses ass trophy, but now he has won 4 games in a row and playing well. Projections have him winning again, with everyone's favorite Island winning 123.35-118.56 over DP. It will come down to Sunday evening with Aaron Rodgers on one side, and Josh Gordn, Jimmy Graham and Randal Cobb on the other. Ryker likes when I pick against him, so even though I think he will win, just to make him happy, I will say JH wins by 5.

Paulaner Experience 5-3 vs. Kareem Myself 5-3- All of the 5-3 teams are playing each other. The first match up features Santino as he continues the year of the bambino, take on everyone's favorite Best Man Robb. Projections now has KM winning 138.08-107.58, though I would assume Santino would be putting in Rudolph at TE since Ebron has a bye, and I assume he will also put in Mr. Hill and Mr. Cooks, since that's why you trade for guys, to play them, so that will change those projections a lot. KM has the choice of QB in the Rams/Saints game, right now he is going with Goff on the road over the guy with the most passing yards in NFL history, really can't go wrong with either choice. Thielen will have a big day against the Lions, and with Thomas gone, it is now all Sanders in Denver, so that will help BMR as well. I think this will be a close match up, but give me KM by 8.

Jennifer & Ronny 5-3 vs. Hilltop Creepers 5-3- The next match up between 5-3 teams is a match up between Mr. Football and Mr. Jager..... J&R really has been getting lucky all year. They haven't score many points, but they just are playing the right people at the right time, made some good FA pick ups at the right time, and now traded for James White, who already gave him one win last week, that he would not have got without him. The projections has this one very close will HC just winning 130.88-128.98. I think Sloney has the better team, he knows more about football, is much smarter, better looking, and the University he went to knows how to play football and men's basketball. Also Cousins against the Lions, McCaffrey against TB... great time to make that trade, and having Touchdown Brown and Mike Evans with FitzMagic back to throw to him all equal a big win for HC by 10.
