Week 10 Preview
A very good week for us last week, going 4-1, raising our record for the year to 28-17, which isn't terrible. Week 10 is shaping up to be another big week in the Out of the Sandbox League as the 8/9, 5/6 3/4 and 1/2 seeds are all match up against each other. With that being said, let us get right to it.
Redzone Redemption 4-5 vs. Kerryon my Wayward Son 1-8- Let's get this one out of the way real quick. The only question left for The Dean this season is will his tie himself for the least amount of wins in a season with 1.He will not get it this week, unless the Bears/Lions game is just full of lots of rushing TDs by Howard and Johnson, two separate people, not to be confused with Howard Johnsons. Rivers and Allen against Oakland though is too good to be true for the Comish, then you throw in Gurley, and even with AJ Green not playing, RR wins this by 20.
Burn it Down 2-7 vs. CuzICouldn'tGoFor3 4-5- Could Tirico get on a win streak and not make the Horse Ass? NO, he can not. Our favorite Island is going to get off to a great start tonight with JuJu on that beat and will continue on Sunday with Discount Double Check, and Tyler Boyd having a big game with AJ Green out all equals a close win for CICGF3. Fitzmagic and the return of Fournette, most likely, will help BID but not enough to get the win, as CICGF3 stays in the playoff hunt with a 8 point win.
Paulaner Experience 5-4 vs. Hilltop Creepers 5-4-Godspeed to the year of Santino. It was a good run, things were going so well. He got married, got off to a quick start in the League, but now he is coming back to earth and has lost 3 games in a row. Sadly for Santino, it's about to be four. He does have Matty Ice going against the Browns, which should be good numbers, but it is at Cleveland, which is probably going to be under 40 on Sunday, and even though the projections will be closer than it is now, 147.58-112.40, since I am sure Santino will add a kicker and a tight end who are not on byes in his starting line up. Hilltop Creepers just have too much fire power and will get a nice 20+ point lead tonight after Touchdown Brown goes off, and never give that lead up. HC wins by 15.
Kareem Myself 6-3 vs. Juicebox Hero 5-4- Big match up here for DP, as he could set up a four way tie for the 2nd best record in the league if he wins, and all my other projections are correct, which of course they will be. Right now this is projected to be a very close win for our favorite Hero's of the Juicebox, 133.90-125.75. This will be a tough one for BMR because JH is quarterbacked by the QB of his team the KC Chiefs, so he wants them to do well, and when he does throw to Kelce or to Hunt he would get points to, and KM has the Chiefs kicker and defense as well. It will be interesting to see how Golden Tate's first game with his new team goes as well. Tough call for QB for KM, do they go with Goff at home, in sunny LA vs the Seahawks, or Drew Brees on the road in cold and windy, I assume, Cinci. Either way I think KM is starting to get on a roll, and you can't lose in the finals unless you are in it, so BMR gets the very close win and heads towards another runner up finish. KM wins by 4.
Jennifer & Ronny 6-3 vs. Golden Gate 7-2- As of this second, this is a match up of the #1 seed vs the #2 seed. J&R have been getting lucky all year. They haven't scored many points, and somehow even though their two first round picks have scored a total of ONE touchdown, combined, and that one finally coming last week, and their 3rd overall pick still has not played a down of football, though at least reports are now he has left Miami and is at least in Pittsburg, he still hasn't reported and has till Tuesday to do so. If he does and can give this team anything, with James White added, thanks Tirico for the wins the last two weeks, this team may actually make the playoffs. Steve also has had Derek's number in the league for some reason, so maybe just maybe Jennifer & Ronny has a shot here...… NOPE. Golden Gate is too good, and will have no issues this week at all. The projections have them winning 145.96-131 but with Connor, Kamara an Gordon, it may not even be that close. Plus Jennifer & Ronny can not pick a QB between Trubisky at home vs the Lions or Wilson on the road against the Rams, word is Jennifer wants Russel but Ronny is leaning towards Trubisky. Either way, Golden Gate wins by 18.
