2020 draft prep

Now that the 2019 fantasy football season is done, it is time to start looking ahead to the 2020 season. And thanks to Mr. Football having our draft board live and ready, let's take our first look at the 2020 draft, team by team break down.

Ryan:
First round picks: 3-(1) (6) and (7)
Best Keeper Options: Davante Adams 6th, Lamar Jackson 9th. If he finds to be 100% healthy AJ Green 3rd if not, Miles Sanders 4th
2020 outlook: After drafting Run CMC #1 The Dean can sit back and see what directions the next picks take until he has two more first round picks at 6 and 7 overall. While on paper this looks like a sure fire can't miss and you can pencil Ryan in for a 2020 title, Best Man Robb has shown us that having 13 picks in the first two rounds doesn't automatically mean Championship. In saying that, Rite Aid is no doubt the early 2020 favorite.

Dustin:
First round picks: 1 (2)
Best Keeper Options: Mark Ingram 3rd, Ju Ju on that beat and Tyler Boyd both 6th round
2020 outlook: After taking his Ohio State fanboy Zeke at number 2, Dustin has a long wait until his 2nd round pick, but then has three picks out of 4 at the end of the 2nd, beginning of the 3rd rounds. That should be where he picks the core of his team as he looks to get in the playoffs in 2020 and not hold on to that Horses Ass trophy.

Steve:
First round picks: 1 (3)
Best Keeper Options: Derek Henry 3rd, Aaron Jones 6th. Mike Williams 9th
2020 Outlook: Steve really only likes a few things about fantasy football, the draft, making trades, drinking while watching NFL Redzone and not wining the horses ass. He has the most total losses in the league and that will continue. Count on him to be close to 500, make trades, make crazy bets that he forgets about and draft somewhere in the 3-5 range in 2021 as well.

Matt
First round picks: 2 (4) (10)
Best Keeper Options: George Kittle 6th James Conner 6th. Gallup or Tate 9th
2020 Outlook: First off, not sure who Matt is, I'll look in to that. Anyway, he doesn't have a clear cut star to keep, unless with Big Ben coming back Conner all of a sudden is a top 10 RB again, but he has some options for late round values. He also has two first round picks so that has to help, one would think. After giving up the horses ass I am sure he is going to fight hard to get it back in 2020.

Santino
First round picks: 1 (5)
Best Keeper Options: Matt Ryan 9th, Jimmy G 9th, Tom Brady 13th- but no really, Nick Chubb 6th I guess
2020 Outlook: first of all, Santino needs to get to work, he has his actual picks in every round by 1 and that is from a 2018 trade. COME ON MAN! It really would be funny if he just kept the 3 QBs. The revenge tour has some open dates this season but I am predicting all shows being cancelled next year and Santino fighting it out for the horses ass.

Derek
First round picks: None
Best Keeper Options: Everyone but Barkley, his Tight Ends and Dak… no really, he has options.
2020 Outlook: he went all in this year to try to defend his title and he at least got his money back, and you can do a lot worse than that. Sure his first pick in the draft isn't till 15th, as of now, something tells me he will make a trade, I mean its Derek. Plus the options he has in guys to keep will lead to some trades too. Keeper Kamara in the 9th for sure, I would expect Gordon in the 2nd and then just make magic happen. Lockett in the 6th we shall say for now.

Dylan
First round picks: none
Best Keeper Options: Mahomes 9th. Michael Thomas 6th
2020 Outlook: He did the last season pick up of Gronk just in case, so of course if he does come back, he would keep him in the 9th and move Mahomes around. DP should have another solid squad and be in the playoff race all season long.

Jeremy
First round pick: 1 (8*)
Best Keeper Options: The best QB of all time, Deshaun Watson 6th. Whatever RB he has in the 9th that becomes a starter.
2020 Outlook: It was amazing he made the playoffs, only because he is Mr. Football and is amazing. All I know is this, one, he is awesome, and two, he will draft and or pick up players through the year I have never heard of and somehow win a lot more games then most and make the playoffs again.
* Until he makes some trade to move up to 3 and trades all of his other picks away but doesn't remember it cause he is passed out in the lawn somewhere.

Robb
First round picks: 1 (9)
Best Keeper Options: Adam Thielen 6th. Chris Godwin 6th.  DEVANTE PARKER 9TH LOL
2020 Outlook: Everyone's favorite running up did it again in 2019 and it was clear what he was missing was a game breaking RB to go out and get you 20-25 points a week when you need it. It is going to be hard in this league to still find that at #9 but you have to think he will take the best RB left and roll the dice. There was some talk of him punting the 2020 season, and stock piling picks for the 2021 draft to go get another runner up title, so stayed tuned.

Greg
First round picks: none
Best Keeper Options: Cooper I get every target and not cooks Kupp 6th. Russel Wilson Jr. III 7th. AJ Brown 9th.
2020 Outlook: I don't really think he will keep Russel because even though he loves him he can get him after the 7th round in this league. Our first 3 time champ made some magic happen to win it, but it was all worth it. Some may sit back and enjoy their trophy but I know Greg will not. He will get right back to work, see how Ronald Jones is looking in camp and move forward. Somehow someway Greg will find himself back in the playoffs in 2020.

We have a little bit of time until the draft in August, so there will be much more 2020 draft prep ahead, but I hope you all enjoyed your first look at the 2020 draft.
