Week 14 Predictions
A 3-2 week brings us to 35-31 on the season. But this is it... yeah the playoffs start next week, but we have found a way to make 4 of the 5 matchups in week 14 to be HUGE! And the one that isn't, is the #1 vs. #2 teams going at it in a possible title game preview. Those two are also the only two who have officially clinched a playoff spot right now. So let's get to it.
King Derek 141.11 (6-7) vs. Mr. Football 114.62 (6-7)
If you want to get in it, win it weekend is underway. And this is the one match up that is clear cut. Winner is in. Our defending champ is trying to get back in the playoff and be the team no one wants to see and he has the last man standing in Barkley on Monday night so if after Sunday afternoon games Sloney is not up by at least 15, its over. It looks like Eli will be starting to, so that means the return on Eli Face but I think it also means a lot of Barkley. That will turn out to the be difference. As much as it would be great to see Sloney in the playoffs even though he passed out before the draft started and made crazy trades he couldn't possible remember or know what was going in, the fact that he can still make the playoffs if he can win this week it amazing and that is why we call him Mr. Football. In saying all of that, Give me Derek to win by 15.
DP 129.33 (7-6) vs. Santino 115.95 (6-7)
Baring a miracle, DP will be in the playoffs due to points. But the revenge tour wants to finish the season strong and get that record to 500. Sadly for him, I think DP has got this one. Mahomes has a statement game at the Pats and that offense is going to want to show they can do it against the best, Gurley is going against Seattle and the Rams need the best effort of the season to stay alive in the playoff chance for reals. DP will get off to a good start tonight with Zeke against the Bears and will never look back. DP wins by 10.
Tirico 113.86 (5-8) vs. Rykers Island 116.52 (5-8)
Cooper and Bears D vs. Gallup and Mongomery tonight, then Tirico has Wentz going Monday night. All other players will go on Sunday, so we will know waking up Monday morning what kind of game Carson Wentz needs to have to insure Tirico can give up the trophy he loves so much. I think we all deep down want him to keep it forever, if only for the fact that he wouldn't have to change his fantasy team name ever again, which would be amazing. I really do think Cousins will have a big game vs the Lions and that will be the differences and Rykers Island will win by 7.
G-Money 140.73 (11-2) vs. Best Man Robb 128.68 (10-3)
Number 1 vs. Number 2. Greg and his best man, they are both in the playoffs and the seeds have been set with Greg as the 1, and Robb as the 2, so this match up really doesn't mean much besides bragging rights. Greg is sitting on a typical island somewhere listening to the sounds of the ocean while sipping on a fruity alcoholic drink, so I have to give this match up to BMR. Of course then I look at his line up and can't believe he is 10-3. So I changed my mind, even without him watching or caring, though we all know he is still following along with every snap, Greg wins by 12.
Steve 122.11 (5-8) vs. The Dean 123.10 (4-9)
The battle for who wants to beat Tirico in the horses Ass should be a good one. Yahoo, the clear best fantasy site, as it 51% Rite Aid to 49% for Butt Hutt, sorry for the joke only 2 people get. Robinson is going tonight for J&R so they will have a lead at least once this week. The Dean does have two Eagles going Monday night, Sanders and my ball Zach Ertz, so if Steve isn't up by at least 20 after Sunday he has no chance. I feel like this is bound to come down to Monday night, late in the game, Ertz goes across the middle for a 12 yard catch and that 1.2 points will be the difference for Ryan winning 135 to 134.98
