Week 5 Preview

 Four weeks in and things are really starting to get interesting now. Not only for the league with three 3-1 teams and two 2-2 teams right on the heels of the one lucky 4-0 team, but in the less important real life, which impacts the league thus making it important, we have several teams now with some cases that could make play this week even tougher. As of now, we have the Titans and Pats with cases, making the Titans-Bills game already maybe being moved to Monday or Tuesday, which would move the Bills next Thursday game to Saturday, per sources I read on twitter. Hopefully, no other teams will add cases. I see no chance of the Titans game being played, they still have not been allowed in their facility for almost two weeks now.... anyway... here we go.


Tirico 3-1 vs. The Dean 2-2

These are two really good teams and the projections from the best fantasy site there is, predicts a ten point match up. As of now, Tirico is the one with a Bills player, Mr Diggs, who should be on BMR's team, but he didn't follow the mock. With so many players going tonight on Young Matthews' bench he does not have too many options if he chooses to keep Diggs in at the flex, hopefully the game will still be played this week. I just think there is too much own known for Tirico, Rite Aid gets a much needed win, and both teams will be 3-2 after this week. Dean by 6.


Santino 2-2 vs. Rykers Island 1-3

The Island is starting this guy named Tom Brady this evening so he will have a lead at least once in the match up. The question is, can he hold on to it and make both of these two 2-3 after this week? Both teams are starting Dallas wide outs, as of now, so we will see if maybe the Giants try to take away Cooper, letting Lamb have a big day for Santino. Dustin has Pats D and Gordon, who NE is playing, so if there is any more New England positive tests that is a worry, but I believe that game will be played and all should be ok for that one. I don't want to give the Bambino any bulletin board material, so I will say a Matty Ice touchdown to Ridley will be the difference in a 4 point Santino win. 


DP 1-3 vs. Mr. Football 1-3

Both have members of their team going tonight as DP is going with the Bears D, while Sloney has Mike Evans tonight. Mr. Football has yet to pick up a defense for the week, but he has time. Sloney also has a Titans TE in the line up as of now, so we shall see how that plays out. I hate to do this, but I have to agree with the projections right here and say DP is going to get a win. After Sloney adds a defense it will be closer than 14, but DP gets a hard fought three point win.


Derek 3-1 vs. BMR 0-4

The curse of Diggs has hit Robb's team hard and in all the crazy things that has happened in 2020, and there has been a ton, BMR, the best man, the better man, the man known for 500 page draft binders being 0-4 is the one that is the most shocking. Derek is projected to win by almost 20 to keep BMR winless, the only problem would be if the Bills and Titans game does not happen this week since Derek is lucky enough to have the worlds best QB and luckiest guy in the world Josh Allen, as his QB. Robb does have the Bucs D tonight so he will get out to a lead and he also has Dak going against the Giants, so that's good for 40-50 points. BMR shocks the world and wins by 5.


The Comish 3-1 vs. Jennifer & Ronny 4-0

J&R will take a lead tonight with Ronald Jones II going this evening and G-money having an all Sunday line up. The Comish does have Titan-Bills concerns a little bit with Singletary going as one of his RB but with J&R having Henry that would be a bigger loss for them. The projections have it a close 133-126 match up. But for once, Yahoo is wrong, Greg is going to get a nice 10 point win and both teams will be 4-1 come Tuesday morning.

 We are back!! football baby, and what a opening weekend, four days of NFL games with some big college games in the middle. And we are back with our predictions, we slacked off last year and in the off season but have worked out a new scheduling agreement and the preview for each week will be posted by Thursday each week. Week 5 Preview

 A 2-3 week last week has left the writing staff with a 11-9 record on the season, need to do better. Our first week that byes come into play, so let's get right to it.  Bambino 1-3 Vs Derek 0-4 Can Derek finally get a win, he has a 70% chance as of now from the best fantasy site in the world. Of course, that may have to do with Santino still having two guys on byes in his lineup. Both have players going tonight with Evans and Pitts, I think Derek takes a lead and he does not give it up. He finally gets his first win, 120-110. Hootie world tour 2-2 Vs. our Fearless leader 0-4 Speaking of guys trying to get there first win, our Commish is winless, and guess what, he stays that way. None have anyone going tonight and Hootie does have to worry about Nabers and his concussion if he will play, but as sad as it is to say, G-Money's team is not good, maybe fantasy has passed him by, he is like our Jerry Jones. Week 3 Preview

 A little better week last week, as we went 3-2 in our picks, bringing our season record to 5-5. Not terrible, but you would like to do better than 500. Week 3, let's get right to it.  The Hootie World Tour 0-2 vs. Santino 1-1 Well maybe Bambino knew what he was talking about with his team's name, as we went from scoring 179 points in week 1 to 85 in week 2. In week 3 he gets a team 0-2 that really needs a win and is projected to get one. Neither team has a player going tonight, though both have QBs going on Monday night, but not against each other, as there are two Monday night games this week. Nabers showed he will be the main focus on the Giants offense as he had 18 targets for the game last week at THE WASHINGTONS, catching 10 for over 120 yards and a score, and at Cleveland should be tarted close to as much.
