Week 5 Preview

Went 3-2 last week to get back to 500 for the season at 10-10.  We are in to a big week, first, the NFL has finally gave us a real Thursday night game for tonight, we have a big Sunday night game as well, and some major fantasy match ups, which of course is more important. So, let us get right to it.

 G-Money  (3-1) 123.16 vs. DP (4-0) 136.14

#1 vs. #2 in this huge match up between the Comish and the best Athletic Director in the state. The projections does have Mr. Patterson winning and the fun does start tonight with the Rams and Seattle game. Greg has DK and Mr. Kupp while Dylan has Tyler Lockett as well as the Rams kicker. After that Greg will need to build a big lead on Sunday, as DP has JTT (Have no idea what his middle name is, just thought I would bring back ideas of the great Jonathan Taylor Thomas) and Mark Andrews Monday night. As of now our Comish is breaking the rules and does not have a defense on his roster, but he does have time to change that though. DP going with the old trick of playing your starting QB against your starting defense. I have to apologize to DP, but I think Delvin Cook against the Lions and Russel throwing to DK and not Lockett will be the difference. Greg wins a close one to make both teams 4-1. G-Money 130-127.

BMR (3-1) 116.33 vs. Bambino (2-2) 134.94

Best Man Robb is buying time until run CMC and now David Montgomery come back, McCaffrey may even try to give it a go this week, so we will see. Robb does have Mr. Woods going tonight, while Santino will not have anyone until Sunday. Santino is projected to win and really does have a solid team this year, most of his players do play Sunday afternoon, night or like Mr. Brown Monday night, so Robb will want to have a big lead after the 1pm games, since after the 1pm Sunday games all he has his is kicker left. And while it is true the game is called FOOTball, I wouldn't want to rely too much on one when facing the great Josh Allen. I actually think the KC-Bills game will be 21-17 type, not 38-35, so with that being said, Thielen goes for 130 and a score, Godwin gets a TD, Minnesota's D has a big game and BMR wins to go to 4-1. Robb 128-122

King Derek (2-2) 132.66 vs. Wiseguy Ryan (2-2) 129.98

This is another huge match up, as a win puts you right in the thick of things at 3-2 but a loss that would drop you to 2-3 makes it a lot harder to get back in the race, especially with three teams at 4-1 (going by my picks) The projections has this as a close match up and I have to agree. Derek will be setting the alarm Sunday as he has Mr. Pitts and Mr. Patterson going Sunday morning in London Baby! BTW, how can we as a league let a guy win a game starting two players from the Falcons offense? But in this case, I think it will work, since they are playing the J E T S, Jets Jets Jets. Ryan gets off to a head start tonight with Mr. 1-2 Step and has the kicker who kicked the longest field goal in NFL history on Monday night, which should give him another good score this week. I think it may come down to Tampa wide outs, who scores more between Touchdown Brown and Mike Evans. I have to go with my Chippewa... the wide out, not the fantasy manager. Touchdown Brown with a late TD for the Bucs for the win. King Derek wins 131-127.

Mr. Football (2-2) 146.84 vs. Tiricooooooooooooooo (1-3) 127.83

In Another huge match up this week, we have brother vs. brother. As they compete this week, not for their mother's love, which Jeremy clearly has, but for a big fantasy win. Both teams would be 2-3 if Tirico could find a way to win. Spoiler Alert: Tirico will not win. Sloney Slone Slone starts it off tonight with DHJ going against Seattle, so that should at least get him off to a nice lead, 12-17 point range. Believe it or not Mr. Football also has a 930am date with football Sunday morning as he is playing Mr. Ridley. What I am really hoping happens, is Tirico's squad really brings it and after Sunday's night game, the teams are tied. So it would all come down to Monday Night, Sloney starting Baltimore while Tirico starts the Colts. Well we know who wins that one. Older bro, Sloney wins 140-131.

Jennifer & Ronny (0-4) 123.98 vs. Rykers Last Dance Island (1-3) 132.2

Perhaps a early season Horses Ass preview. The Last Dance Island, hosted by Dustin Ryker is projected to win, and of course he will. But Jennifer & Ronny do still have a chance, and not one in a million either, oh no, they have a 43% chance of winning. Interestingly enough, 43% is the same chance as an American child has to being born in to poverty. Also that is the chance of a NYPD officer hitting their target if they shoot their weapon within 6 feet. That's right, Steve has the same chance of winning this week as he does of walking up to a New York city police officer, getting 5 feet away from them and then having them shoot him and he actually get hit with the bullet. You can't make this stuff up. Neither team has anyone playing in the Sunday morning game, but Dustin does have Higbee going tonight, so a TD from him and oh let's say 60 yards will get Ryker and all the members of his Island off to a great start. If J&R can somehow have a lead after Sunday you have to think they will get a win, having Lamar going Monday night, while Ryker counters with L. Murray. The differences in this one will be discount double check and Jefferson having a big game against the Lions. Dustin wins, I mean of course he does, 130-121.
