Week 9 preview
A much better week last week, as we went 4-1 last week in our picks, and missed going 5-0 by 0.88. That does bring our record to 20-20 for the season. Hopefully another good week here, so let's get to it.
DP (7-1) 141.77 vs. King Derek (5-3) 129.44
The defending camp against the man in the driver's seat this year. Could be a potential finals preview. In this match up, I have to give the edge to DP. Mr. Taylor should get the squad off to a great start tonight playing against the Jets. Derek meanwhile has all but one player going down the 1pm window on Sunday, that being his QB going at 425. Dylan also has a flex going Monday night, plus his kicker on Sunday night, so Derek will want a nice lead going in to the late primetime games. Not sure I love Dylan's defense choice against the Cards, but I do think the rest of the squad is enough for the Maroon Giant to get a nice win. DP wins 138-130.
Tirico (4-4) 139.17 vs. Wiseguy (5-3) 127.54
The projections does have Tirico with the advantage, and should get off to a good start tonight with the Colts Defense against the Jets. This match up also features the much anticipated Joe Burrow vs Ryan Tannehill QB match up. Matthew is of course hoping for the double points and lots of Burrow to Chase points while of course Rite Aid is hoping that Mr. Adams will be back and can help Jordan Love in his first career start. Tirico has had a tough week already, FIRE UP CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, So why not throw him a bone. Tirico wins 135-131.
Bambino (6-2) 113.42 vs. Mr. Football (2-6) 133.56
Not sure why Mr. Football is having Dallas' back up QB start, I am not sure who this Dak person is, but Cooper Rush is clearly QB1 for the Cowboys. Even so, somehow he is projected to win. Now I would like Mr. Football to get back in the game and start winning some more, but he is 1) going against his good friend Josh Allen, and 2) Santino has all the good mojo going for himself this week since he braved the cold, and being in the worst stadium in the worst city in the world to watch the CHIPPEWAS' come from behind and BEAT THOSE DAMN BRONHOES!!!!! For that alone, Bambino gets the win this week against our US ambassador to Brazil, 126-120.
G-Money (4-4) 126.08 vs. Rykers Last Dance Island (2-6) 110.01
Dustin, you deserve better.. I apologize, that one steve guy in this league, no one likes him anyway, likes the Giants and you have Barkley and Gano. Barkley is about to come back and bam, tests positive for covid, then discount double check does too, not to mention the other 3 guys on your team on the IR. I want nothing more than The Island to find a miracle and win this one, cause I Greg has an unfair advantage as he has a heart from a former Rhodes scholar and that is helping him make better draft moves and trades. All that being said, Cook, Brown and Cupp, oh my... The Comish wins easy 130-104.
Jennifer & Ronny (1-7) 111.35 vs. BMR (4-4) 101.45
The projections going J&R's way will change when 1) Best Man Robb puts in a tight end playing this week and not someone who does not play in the NFL, since he is a member of some team called the Lions, and 2) If Run CMC is back he will get many more points and BMR can make that playoff push still. Since he needs to be in the playoffs if he wants to achieve his dream of another runner up finish. I do want to congratulate Jennifer & Ronny for getting D. Hopkins back on his team.... oh wait, not the awesome wide out, it's the mediocre kicker, oh never mind. BMR wins easy, 125-105.
but one last thing.................
FIRE UP CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE CANNON HAS RETURNED HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SUCK IT TIRICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
