Week 13 Preview

Went 3-2 last week, to make our season record 35-25 thus far. Only two more weeks until the playoffs, so let's get right to it.

G-Money (7-5) 126.32 vs. Tiricooooooooooooooooooooooooo (6-6) 127.23

Must win for Tirico if he wants to make the playoffs. The projections have him as a slight leader here, but the all-time records, say otherwise, as Greg is 13-8 all time vs. young Matthew. However, Santino will be rooting for Tirico since a lost by him would wrap up the division for Bambino. But the Comish needs to keep winning to make the playoffs himself, so the stakes cannot be higher. Both have RB going tonight, one went to OSU, the other, went to Flint Southwestern high school, advantage Greg. Tirico also has his kicker and defense going tonight, both also from the Cowboys, so still advantage Greg. Then also, Greg getting Colts D vs. Texans, is a great pick up. The Comish has his kicker and one of his wide outs going Monday so we will see if Tirico can get a lead after Sunday night or if it will be over before then. Personally, I think Tirico will be up 9 after Sunday, and Greg gets the points he needs and gets a 131-128 win.

BMR (5-7) 123.96 vs. Santino (9-3) 110.25

Believe it or not, Bambino is 16-10 all time against our favorite runner up. BRM can still make the playoffs, but he has to win out plus have like 4 other things happen. Santino clinches the division with a win, or a Greg loss as mentioned previously. Santino has already locked in a playoff spot however, so he should be filling pretty good going in to the final two weeks. Neither man, a common man like Santino or the Best Man like Robb, have anyone going tonight. Bambino does have Josh Allen, and Mr. Sandfers going Monday night, so if BMR is not up 40+ after Sunday he will be sweating out MNF. Santino going with Eagles defense against the Jets, over Arizona against the Bears, (as of now) will be costly I believe. Also, If Hopkins and Conner can go, I would expect him to make those changes as well. All that being said, Lamar Jackson will have a bounce back game, Thielen is good for a TD against the kitty cats, and Mooney is really the Bears only offense at this point. BMR is hoping Montgomery can find the endzone, but I just do not see it. BMR's playoff dream ends and he re focuses on the consolation bracket. Santino wins 125-120.

Mr. Sports Emmy (4-8) 119.71 vs. The Wiseguy (8-4) 140.76

First, we have to congratulate our 2020-2021 Sports Emmy Winning, US Ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Football, Jeremy Slone for his amazing achievements in the last year. Sloney we are all proud of you and love you brother. Unless there is a major shakeup, Sloney Slone Slone will be in the consolation bracket, so on top of all his accomplishments this year already, he can still get his money back. However, for this week, Ryan is 12-11 all time against Mr. Emmy, and Rite Aid is projected to win fairly easily. There is a reason why he is projected to do so.... cause he will. Sloney has his QB going tonight, so will get out to a lead at least after tonight's matchup. However, after that, Cousins, throwing a bunch on the Lions, Mixon has been outstanding the last few weeks, plus still having Beasley, Kelce, Henderson, Evans and Allen, the man formerly known as The Dean, or on a wonderful trip to Gulf Shores, Rite Aid, will win to clinch his playoff berth and try to make another run at the trophy, that he loves, and wants to win and display ever so proudly.  Wiseguy Ryan will also be in the playoffs if Tirico or Derek lose, but he will not need the help, he gets it done himself. Ryan wins 136-121.

DP (11-1) 155.62 vs. Rykers Last Dance Island (3-9) 120.41

Dustin has a 4-3 advantage over Dylan for their careers, but sadly for Rykers, his last match up with DP, will not go well. Dylan officially clinches the #1 for the playoffs with one more win, or a Santino loss. He already has won the division and has had a great year. On Paper his team looks unbeatable. I mean, when a team is having a season like this, you may as well just give him the trophy now, I mean what could go wrong, no one would ever not win the trophy with a record like DP's................ Anyway, I really hope Barkley becomes Barkely again for these last few weeks for Rykers so he can go out with some wins, those wins, will not happen this week sadly. Top to bottom there should be big numbers for our favorite Maroon Giant, well besides Steve, his favorite Maroon Giant is TDIV. Rykers got the Saints D going tonight, and maybe the Cowboys and keep playing bad and they put up 12-15 points for him to get the party going. That party will stop this weekend though, and DP, who does have his QB going Sunday night and one of his WR going Monday night, will be able to sleep well early Sunday. DP wins 150-131.

Jennifer & Ronny (1-11) 113.68 vs. King Derek (6-6) 98.27

The projections are way wrong for two reasons, One, our defending champ will be taking out Kamara and Jones, for guys who will actually play and do things, and because of that will gain about 20 points. He also needs to win, and then get a whole bunch of help, to have any chance of defending his title. Most likely he will be in the consolation bracket but does want to keep winning for momentum. And two, J&R has managed a 12-8 all-time record against Derek so far, and that just cannot be. Since Derek is way cooler and better at fantasy football then both Jennifer and Ronny. The best-case did happen for Jen and Ronald however, with Cook getting hurt, Alexander Mattison, my name is Alexander Mattison, will be playing, and against the Lions no less, so there is 20+ for them there. But what has happened all year will happen again. J&R will play the wrong wide outs, and they will drastically under perform. Derek will have to come from behind after Sunday, but his defense and kicker will take it home and lead him to victory. Derek wins 117-115.
