Week 14 Preview

Went 3-2 last week, to go 38-27 on the season. One final week before the playoffs. DP has clinched the #1 seed, so congrats to best damn Maroon Giant since Derek Jeter. Tirico, BMR and Mr. Emmy have all clinched the consolation bracket, while Ryker and Steve have the honor of fighting it out for the Horses Ass, either way, sadly with Dustin leaving us, Steve will "win" the horses ass trophy this year and get to display it "proudly" throughout the year. Anyway, let's get to it.

G-Money (8-5) 134.86 vs. Wiseguy Ryan (8-5) 140.65

Both should be in the playoffs, as long as they don't get outscored by 47 and 52 points respectfully, by Derek, BTW, great work by Ryan sending out the playoff breakdowns these last few weeks. So, this matchup is really all about seeding. Greg can still win the division too with a win and a Santino loss so no question this is still a match up both members want to win. Projections has this close with Rite Aid getting the win over G-Money and I have to agree, especially since Cook may not play again, and besides his defense, Ryan has some good match ups. Both teams make the playoffs and live to fight another day. But Wiseguy Ryan wins this one 135-128 as he continues his dominance over Greg, as he is currently 13-8 all time against the Comish.

King Derek (7-6) 125.64 vs. Tirico (6-7) 134.40

Our defending champ needs a big week to get back in the playoffs to defend his crown, and sadly I just don't see it happening. When healthy there is no question Tirico has one of the best line ups in the league and he should have his full line up this week. Perhaps a rematch will be coming in a consolation final between these two in a few weeks. Currently their career record is tied 11-11 against each other so bragging rights are on the line. Derek starting two cowboy wide outs, as of now, is an interested call, and for that reason alone, I cannot pick him to win. Tirico gets the win and adds some momentum heading to the consolation bracket. 128-121.

BMR (6-7) 126.05 vs. DP (12-1) 141.19

DP is the #1 seed, while BMR will be trying to get his money back in the consolation bracket. Robb is 5-3 all time against Mr. Patterson, but that will soon be 5-4. I really don't have anything smart to say about this, except, Dylan wins, 137-127.

Mr. Emmy (5-8) 127.34 vs. Rykers Last Dance Island (3-10) 110.83

Sloney is 5-4 all time against Dustin and he is projected to win this week as well. Neither team is all that impressive, which I suppose explains why they are in 8th and 9th place. Rykers is preparing for an epic Horses Ass battle, while Mr. Football will try to salvage the season in the consolation bracket. Hunter has had a nice season, but other than that, Dustin's team has vastly underachieved, I sadly think that continues for one more week here and Mr. Emmy gets the win 115-106.

Jennifer & Ronny (1-12) 106.98 vs. Bambino (9-4) 118.89

Santino wraps up the division with a win, so Santino will win the division. J&R is actually 14-12 all time against the former star of the movie Radio, but Santino inches closes this week for sure. Josh Allen should enjoy playing in Florida this week much more than the windy blizzard he played in on Monday night, though he played his college ball at Wyoming so he should be use to it. I do like J&R picking up the Titans defense against the Jags, but other than that, Santino has the edge at basically every position. Santino cruses to a 125-104 win.
