Week 1 Preview

We have made it to week 1 of the 2022 Fantasy Football season!!!!!!!!!  So let's get right to what you have all been waiting for. The Week 1 picks!

Mr. Sports Emmy 144.75 vs. The Commish 141.27

What a giant match up right out of the gate as 50% of the executive board goes at it in week 1. Projections from the #1 Fantasy site in the world gives a slight edge to Sloney, though he is still kicker less... it's called FOOTball Jer, though having the top two RB should help his cause a bit. The match up gets off to a fun start right away as both teams have there WR1 going tomorrow night in a I Diggs your Kupp match up. Cooper is projected a few more points, but without a lot of the Rams other options, more attention should be shown to him, and I do not see him getting 18 fantasy points this week. Diggs also of course has the better QB throwing to him, Sloney's close and personal friend Josh Allen, so Mr. Sports Emmy keeps it close all weekend long and then there two QBs both have 425 games, so this one will be fun until late Sunday evening. G-Money does have zeke going Sunday night, so if he can stay with in 15-20 points, he would at least have a chance. He gets it close, but not close enough. Jeremy gets a 151-146 win.

DP 131.51 vs. TIRICOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 132.60

The defending champ begins his quest to repeat with a 50/50-coin flip with young Matthew. Tirico has his kicker going tomorrow night, a QB and defense going Sunday night, and some flex appeal Monday night. Meanwhile the 3rd most athletic member of the Patterson family is going just Sunday 1 and 425 time slots this week. We will see how big of a lead he can get out to and then if Tirico can come back. Not crazy about the Dallas D against TB, though they did have a very competitive game in week 1 last year, but this is a new day, yes, it is. We will see if the double TE play helps DP, which makes sense, since who doesn't like to DP a tight end, both are starting NFC East QB, which as a Giants fan, I hate, so guess what.... No one Wins.... This ends in the popular tie, 135-135.

Bambino 129.11 vs. Wiseguy Former Dean Rite Aid 127.40

This match up gets under way right away tomorrow night as well as Santino has Josh Allen and Knox (who just signed a four-year extension putting him as a top 5 paid TE in the NFL) going while Ryan has the Bills defense. Ryan then has three players Sunday night, while Santino has Mr. Jeudy going Monday night. So, this one will not be decided until late Monday night/early Tuesday morning. The difference is the Colts D against the Texans. just a great decision there by Cuban Gooding Jr. and that will give Santino a 130-126 win.

Former King Derek 146.45 vs. Team Hootie 138.22

Tough match up in their first game in the league here as they kick off their Fall world tour with a date with Derek. Which sure, no one will hear from him again until next year's draft, where he will once again find a way to make the draft super fun with some crazy trade, but his team is still very good. Only questions for Derek are his WR are not the best, though having Lamar to Bateman getting him double points does help, and can his RB's stay healthy. He does have a kicker going tomorrow, so congrats on getting a kicker before week 1 begins for once, as well as Akers. Team Hootie gas Allen Robinson II going tonight, as the newest Ram will try to fill in for ODB and Mr. Woods. Derek will need a pretty good lead going into Sunday night, as he has Lamb to play, but TH has Brady and TB defense. All in all, I think Derek will do enough to hold on for a 141-137 win.

Jennifer & Ronny 143.27 vs. Best Man Robb 118.88

BMR needs a kicker, but he does have one more day. He does have Gabe Davis going tomorrow night so he will get off to an early lead. J&R is very Sunday 425pm heavy and has their QB and defense going Monday night. Davis gets BMR off to a big lead, D Cook out preforms Jones, Adams does nothing for his new team, while St. Brown scores a game winning TD in Detroit, and Best Man Robb, the better man, shows it again. BMR wins 129-126.
