Week 9 Preview

 A terrible 1-4 week last week, going to a disappointing 3-7 so far on the season. Congratulations to Sloney on his first win of the season, making every team within 2 games of the playoffs. So with that being said, let’s get to it. Big week of football kicks off this evening and we do have some great games in the NFL, and then maybe a few not so great. 

6-2 Hootie’s 2023 World Tour (113.09) vs. 3-5 Mrs. Potts (113.46) 

Basically a coin flip, 50-50 for this one. Should be a great matchup throughout. Neither team has anyone going tonight but the Sunday morning game, surprisingly we are giving Germany the game of the weekend, 9:30am will be very important in this one. After 5 total players going across the pond there are still much to be decided and there will be even after the Sunday afternoon games with Hootie having 3 players going Sunday and Monday night. So clearly DP will have the lead and then just have to wait, and hope that the Dolphins don’t make him cry, and scored him enough points early to survive the late charge of Burrow and his boys. I picked both teams to lose last week but I can’t pick a tie, as much as I want both to win, it can’t happen. DP wins a close one 120-118. 

5-3 Derek Golden Gate (117.78) vs. 3-5 The Wiseguy (121.53) 

Another matchup that should be close throughout and is also extremely important. Derek gets it going tonight with the Steelers defense and then both teams do have players going Sunday morning, as well as Sunday afternoon Sunday evening and Monday night. Some really good talent in this one but this time of year with injuries, trades, coaches and GM’s being fired. This matchup is going to come down to Monday Night and Hall vs Wilson. Hall with a short edge and Derek gets the win 120-118. 

3-5 The Commish (123.09) vs 3-5 Best Man Robb (74.46)

BMR has time of course still, but should get on that whole starting a QB, and G-Money will have to start a TE. After that happens, the projections will not change, the only person who lives in Ohio we like is hit hard with the bye week, odd that is the week the Commissioner plays him….odd….. Greg wins 125-100. 

7-1 Santino not screwed at all (109.29) vs 1-7 Sloney (83.40) 

Speaking of needed a QB to start, Jer needs to get on that as well. Bambino is also very hard hit with byes this week, and because of that, Sloney goes back to back again, first back to back sports emmy’s  now back to back wins, keeping him in the playoff picture, no really, it would. As of now, this match up will be decided Sunday, with neither teams having anyone going Monday night. Sloney wins 110-105. 

5-3 Jennifer & Ronny (113.77) vs. 4-4 Tiricooooo (127.64)

Really big matchup here. King Henry starts this matchup off tonight for Tirico to give him a lead. Tua and Sanders then vs Kelce Sunday morning, before J&R has all the rest of their players at 1 or 4. Tirico then has 3 to go with 2 waiting all day for Sunday night and Ekeler going Monday. Tirico holds a one game lead in the all time series, thanks Sloney for that info, and it becomes 2. Tirico wins 125-120. However, that’s the only win for western this week, cause on Tuesday night at 7pm on ESPNU the Cannon comes back to Mt Pleasant!!! Fire up Chips!!! Beat Western.
