Week 13 Preview

Went 4-1 last week to raise our season record to 11-16. Week 13 is underway of course and we had a rare good game on Thursday night football with big points being scored. A total of 9 players played for five teams with a total score of 173.02. That is an average of 19.22 points per player. With the high being 37.40 (DK) and the low being the allas effense (-0.33) 5 of the 6 playoff spots are now clinched but with this week and next week left in the regular season, the five remaining teams all could make the playoffs. With that in mind, let's get to it.

3-9 Go Blue Wiseguy (117.51) vs. 5-7 The Kupp Of the Commish's life (122.13)

That allas effense may really come back to hurt Greg, who needs the win, though Ryan needs the win morer and morer he will get. The former dean got almost double the projected points from his two players that already played, but still has only a 45% chance of winning. Fun that with Lamar on bye, Ryan has Jordan Love going against KC, as G-Money has Patty going against the Pack on Sunday night. The game is in Green Bay, which features a high of 34 and 80% of snow on Sunday, so what this matchup will come down to is Monday night, Mixon against Ridley. It will not be snowing in Jacksonville and Ridley will have the better game as the Jags D will go out all to stop the run. In doing so, Ryan keeps his playoff hopes alive. Wiseguy wins 125-121.

3-9 Hilltop Creeping on Back2Back Sports Emmy's (107.55) vs. 4-8 Leslie's DP Beards (120.61)

Almost a 40 burger from Dak definitely helped Sloney, in this loser is definitely done matchup but he would have got two more points if he played a different wide out from the game. Will that matter? time will tell. Jer still has a open spot in his lineup so he is looking for some flex appeal to give him the victory. I see playing the 49ers really Hurts DP's chances of having a big day from his QB and that will be the difference. Sloney wins a close one to keep his small playoff hopes alive 115-110.

9-3 Hooties Already Clinched world tour (130.09) vs. 4-8 BMR Big Red Corn Dogs

Once Best Man Robb puts the Colts D in against Tennessee the projections will be much closer. Neither team had anyone go on Thursday so still much work to be done here. Robb also has all Sunday afternoon games, 1 and 4, players going this week, so he can get to bed early and get his beauty rest... or you know, stay up to watch his Chiefs play with no fantasy worries, minus not wanting a lot of FGs since The World Tour has Butker. All that being sad, one of these teams needs the win and the other does not. Sadly as much as I would want Robb to win to just set up a lot of ton sceneries next week, Chris and Jason's combined power is too much for any one man to take on, even when that man is the best man. Hootie wins 125-120

9-3 Santaino's Royally Screwed us all (115.79) vs 8-4 Tiricooooo's victory formation (126.49)

A game for seeding preposes only, is a 60-40 edge to Tirico as of now with both teams again not having anyone going Thursday night. That being said, all of us at the writing staff are pulling for Tirico to win, and BMR to win, to have three teams at 9-4 gunning for first place with a week to go. Sadly, that will not happen, as we already mentioned, but a writing staff can dream. Bambino will definitely be torn during the 49ers/Eagles game since he wants AJ Brown to have a big game, but also has the San Fran D, in the end, he will be conflicted too much, and young Matthew and his team will once again assume the victory formation and win 122-118.

7-5 Jennifer & Ronny (142.96) vs. 8-4 Derek's Golden Gate (121.62)

Another matchup for seeding only, got off to a Carrie Underwood hot start Thursday night with CD having a great game with 27.60 points, only to be upstaged by DK with 37.40 points. And while that was a great start for J&R, and the #1 fantasy app and website in the game projects a win for our happy couple by 72%, they did forget a few things. Derek has a long history of beating this team in important matchups and with Barkley, Meyers and the Ravens D on a bye and Jonathan Taylor hurt there is just too much going against Jennifer & Ronny. They peak too early this week and after getting much less projected from everyone else, Derek wins 130-120.
