Week 2 Preview

 A disappointing 2-3 in week 1, hopefully week 2 will treat the writing staff better. Let’s get right to it. 

BMR 1-0 vs The Commish 0–1

Anytime Greg and the person he picked to be his best man face off against each other it is always the main event of the weekend. The injury bug has hit BMR and hit him hard, almost like living in Ohio isn’t punishment enough, the fantasy hods are making everyone’s favorite runner up suffer more. Mason did show he could step up for CMC just fine, and how Robb drafting him may have been the 2nd best thing to happen at the draft besides the magic door! But now Nacua will miss st least the next 4 games after being placed on IR and the tight end he picked up until the TE he wants to play comes back from injury is out too. So now he needs another TE. That being said, I do think he will lead after TNF with Waddle outscoring Shakir. As for Sunday, we will see if Goff can find St Brown more against the Bucks, or maybe he will find Laporta more and help G-Money. I think Mixon running like its 2021 will be the difference and Greg and  Robb will both be 1-1 after this week. The Commish wins 127-122.

King Derek 0-1 vs. DP 0-1

Does the defending champ go to 0-2? One of these two champions will be. DP will be leading after TNF, well unless Miami doesn’t score and Sanders misses FGs, but come Sunday things may just be different. Kupp is now clearly the only main target for Stafford and the Rams and should have a big game. DP is definitely expecting much more from Marvin Harrison Jr then he got in week 1, as they now play the Rams. Both teams starting NFC East QBs with DP having the advantage in matchup and having the more proven player, but Daniels does have some flash in him so maybe can give Derek the spark he needs. Eagles play Monday night so Derek will have a lead and then have to watch to see if he can hold on, a late Hurts to Smith TD wins it for DP 135-130.

Santino 1-0 vs Tirico 0-1

So all Bambino does in week 1 after calling his team I’m screwed is score the most points in the week. He has the great Josh Allen as his QB and had huge games from Reed and Worthy. But, not so fast sweetheart, definitely can’t count on 35 points from Reed each week, especially without Love for a bit. Tirico has the CJ to Collins double dip in a Sunday night home game against the Bears, the Bears D is the strong point of their team right now, but the Texans are a good team that the world must be ready for. Tirico is hoping for another huge game from Likely but I think with or without that, Tirico gets the win, getting both of these teams to 1-1 as well. Tirico 125-119.

Wise guy 1-0 vs Hootie 0-1

Both have RBs going on TNF and then the entire rest of Ryan’s team plays Sunday at 1pm. Rite Aid is hoping his QB Mr Jackson throws a lot more this week to the Ravens TE he has besides the one Tirico picked up against the Raiders. I really want as many teams as possible to be 1-1 after 2 weeks and keep the league close all year but I think Lamar +Jefferson+ Taylor+Andrews=A Wise Guy Win. Ryan wins 135-129.

Back2Back Emmy’s 1-0 vs Jennifer & Ronny 1-0

The only matchup of the week between 1-0 teams starts off on TNF. J&R is heavily featured with Hock Tua on that Hill when Sloney has his TE going. If J&R are not up about 50 after that game they have no chance. Once Sunday comes around 1pm features more players for Jennifer & Ronny to build their lead and feel good about themselves. However, as it usually does, then reality hits. Chase, Connor and then on MNF Robinson will all be 20+ point scorers for Jer to allow Fran’s favorite son to come back and get the win and moving to 2-0 and sitting alone on top of the league. Sloney wins 131-129.
