Week 1 Preview

The wait is over, the NFL is back, for real, tomorrow night. So, let's not waste any time, let's get right to the week one preview for the best fantasy football league there is. Brought to you by Labelle Realty

The Hootie Championship World Tour (135.87) vs/ Back2Back Emmy's (129.23)

This is sure to be a great matchup, and the writing staff thinks it will be a close one throughout. Hootie gets it started on Thursday night with his kicker and some flex appeal, while on Friday night both, well all three, managers will be glued to the TV as the Vickers go with McConkey and Patty Mahomes and Sloney goes with Pacheco and Travis Swift. If Jeremy can keep it close after the Sunday afternoon games, it gives everyone a reason to watch Monday night with Sloney having the Vikings Defense. I do think Jer will keep it close, but not enough to get the W. 110 yards and a TD for Nabers will be the difference as the defending champs start 1-0, 152-145.

The Commish (131.89) vs. DP (110.73)

Some more points will be added once DP adds a kicker, but the writing staff still likes the Comish in this one. We do feel obligated to pick him, since he has extended the writing staffs contract for another year to do these previews, but he also has Josh Allen, and if you didn't like him enough before watching Hard Knocks, brought to you by T-Mobile, you definitely do now.

Both do have players going tomorrow, as DP has Hurts and Williams, and Greg has AJ Brown, so DP is hoping Jalen throws it to everyone but him. G-money has his kicker going Friday night and Dylan has the only player on Monday night, so if he can stay close, DJ Swift may be able to make it fun till the end. We feel Greg's team is too focused here in week one, and they will get the win, 140-125.

The Wiseguy (130) vs. Tiricooooooooooooo (134.42)

Lamar going on Sunday night is the lone player in this matchup not playing at 1 or 4 on Sunday. With all games on Sunday this matchup is brough to you by the Church of laddered Day Saints.

It is projected to be very close, and we believe it will be. In fact, this may be the actual matchup of the week. Each team has a Miami wide out eager to show last year was a fluke and they are talented and part of an offense who can score when Tua knows what planet he is on and while Hill may be the better overall player Waddle has the better game Sunday with the Colts trying to take Hill away, and though Nix should have a strong year, and has an easier matchup than Lamar does, a late Lamar rushing TD to cut the score to 24-21 Buffalo on Sunday night will get the former Dean the win. 139-135.

Bambino (119.99) vs. King Derek has his King Derek back (150.99)

So many asses, so little time, a little tight one can stop you on a dime, I'm a lover, of every kind, the best surprises, always sneak up from behind. This matchup is brought to you by WWE The Music Volume 4.

AssMan (Mr. Ass)

While Santino has some players the writing staff likes, and does have his kicker, Aubrey, and defense, Eagles, going on Thursday night, Derek has Pickens and Barkley going, so he will have a lead after Thursday night and not look back. It helps when you draft 17 times in the first two rounds, but Derek's team is good and they are going to be there all season long. Will need the A game to beat him, not the A S S game. Derek wins, 148-125.

Best Man Robb (115.01) vs. Jennifer & Ronny (124.37)

BMR is trying to keep this matchup close for as long as he can, so he has yet to add a kicker and a defense, and once he does those points projections will change in a big way. With that in mind it is a good time to tell you this breakdown is brought to you by how to kick a better field goal.

Top tips for kicking field goals! (Kick higher and farther!)

As for the matchup, Robb will get a lead after tomorrow's night's game, having Dak and Lamb playing, and will never look back. If by some small miracle Jennifer & Ronny can put something together to give themselves a little bit of hope, TJ Hockenson will shut that down for good Monday night, so the Best Man, can start 1-0. BMR wins 131-120.

Good luck to all, it is great to have the NFL back, and the writing staff is happy to be back. Enjoy the season!
