Week 2 Preview

 After a successful week one, in which the writing staff went 4-1 with our picks, we feel pretty good about week 2. In fact, we feel even better. So let's get right into.


The Commish 1-0 v (132.94) vs. Best Man Robb 0-1 (141.39)

we are all shocked that BMR lost last week, but Yahoo has projected him to win this week. We however are worried about the fundamentals so this recap is brought to you by Tom Emanski.

Greg is as old school as it gets, but has the new school as well, as he has the best QB of all time Josh Allen, that should be enough alone to get the win, but he also has Mr. Robinson at RB and the top wide out in the suddenly potent Jets offense. Robb is also starting Dak and we can't indorse that. All those things add up to a win for the bosh 138-132.

DP 0-1 (132.46) vs. Tiricooooooooo 0-1 (132.93)

This should be a very close matchup. No one on either team going tomorrow night, so it is a weekend only match up. Ended Monday night, with Herbert Collins and McLaughlin vs Bowers. Reminder, there is two Monday night games this week. So, no one will have a case of the Mondays this week.

Both teams have strong players, and both have defenses with good matchups, but I like the Ravens D at home against the Browns, more than the 49ers on the road against the Saints. Because of that, everyone's favorite former Michigan High School Athletic Director gets the win, DP wins 139-131.

The Wiseguy 1-0 (130.83) vs. Derek, the Derek 1-0 (147.97)

This matchup does get going tomorrow night. With Mr. Daniels going for Derek, however, he is going against the Packers D, who Derek also has. Ryan's team is strickly one and four pm Sunday games, so he will need a wonderful Sunday afternoon, and have a huge lead to have a chance since Derek then has London Sunday night and Egbuka Monday night. But Derek will not need to come back in this one, as this week's matchup is brought to you by Ladies Love Cool James.

Derek goes wire to wire and wins 153-128.

Back 2 Back Emmy Winner 0-1 (130.89) vs. Mr. Ass 0-1 (116.05)

Sloney does get going tomorrow with F1 and Jacobs and also has Mike Evans on Monday night. Santino however has all Sunday games, though he is going to be hoping for a much better Sunday night performance from Justin Jefferson than he gave him in week 1. But this matchup is brought to you by The Rock

The Hootie World Tour 1-0 (137.46) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 1-0 (125.07)

Jennifer & Ronny had a great first week, upsetting Best Man Robb, but problems then arrived for them as they learned George Kittle to the IR this led to a big fight between Jennifer & Ronny on which tight end they should pick up. Jennifer wanted Kyle Pitts, while Ronny wanted Dalton Kincaid. They could not decide so they just picked up both of them. But Ronny has insured us no matter what Jennifer does, Kincaid is starting, so he says.

This matchup will not be determined till late Monday night, well technically Tuesday morning, as The World Tour had McConkey in the late game Monday night while Jennifer & Ronny has Better Mayfield going against Houston's D and Fairbairn in the early game, and Jeanty and Meyers in the late game. You can go to bed early though. We already looked into our crystal ball, and the World Tour is winning this one easy. Chris and J win 145-125.

 The wait is over, the NFL is back, for real, tomorrow night. So, let's not waste any time, let's get right to the week one preview for the best fantasy football league there is. Brought to you by Labelle Realty  HOME | labelle The Hootie Championship World Tour (135.87) vs/ Back2Back Emmy's (129.23) This is sure to be a great matchup, and the writing staff thinks it will be a close one throughout. 2025 Draft Recap

 Draft Weekend is over, and from what we have heard from sources and some pictures that have been shared with the writing staff it looks like everyone had a great time. Which is wonderful, because when it is all said and done, that is what it is all about. The fact that the league has been going strong for as long as it has been truly a wonderful thing and a testament to the members in the group. Let's now take a look at each team and how they are looking after the draft. Keeping in mind, we still have some time before the first game and a few managers are known for making some add/drops before game 1.  Hearts of Chaos: Having the greatest QB of all time, Josh Allen, Sloney's close and personal friend, sure helps, and a WR room of AJ Brown, D V Adams, and G Wilson to start and still have two #1 basically for their bad teams in DJ Moore and Jerry Jeudy we like what Greg did. 2025 Draft Preview

 Thankfully it is that time again, FOOTBALL IS BACK!!!! While it is sad the budget for the writing staff was not big enough for us to be able to get out to the draft in person, our contract has been extended through the 2025 season with a league option for 2026, so we will once again get to follow along all season long and feel like we are a part of the great Out of the Sandbox league.
