Week 4 Preview
A very disappointing 2-3 last week, makes the writing staff's record 9-6 on the season. We are not happy about that at all, but what we are happy about is football ALL DAY SUNDAY!! (Plus two Monday night games) Yes, this week is the first international game of the season, and also the last week of the year, before byes start next week, so we have football Sunday at 9:30am, so let's get to it.
The Comish 2-1 (136.49) vs. The Never Ending Hootie Championship World Tour 2-1 (132.64)
This is the matchup of the week for sure, so it is brought to you by the NFL matchup show
NFL Matchup Show Preview for Week 4
We get going tomorrow night with the Seattle defense on the road in the desert in Arizona, but that will give Greg a lead. On Monday night the defending champs have a RB for both teams going in the Jets/Dolphins game, as well as the Denver D against the mighty Bengals of Cincinnati. The Boss has some flex appeal going Monday night, as well as his tight end Sunday night. We feel like this is going to be a very close matchup all weekend long but we will go with the Comish for two reasons, one, he is in charge and makes us, and two, he has Josh Allen, who is better right now than Patty Mahomes, who I think will have the wrong ankle tapes by Megan Trainer. G-Money wins a close one 141-137.
DP 2-1 (113.75) vs Back2Back Emmy's 1-2 (115.46)
This will be another close one and in honor of a two-time winner of a Sports Emmy this matchup is brought to you by two losers.
Dan Patrick And Scott Van Pelt Commiserate About Past Sports Emmy Losses | 4/9/25 - YouTubeThis matchup gets going on Sunday morning, 9:30am EST, 2:30pm Dublin time, with the high scoring Vikings D. Sloney Slone Slone would love another 35+ points from his defense, and why we at the writing staff don't see that happening, we do see another double digit point outing to give Jer a lead going into the Sunday 1pm games. Sunday night will be big in this matchup as well with both teams featuring players, both have someone going Monday evening as well, and though we feel it will be close we picked against DP last week and were wrong and picked against Sloney last week and we were right, so, DP wins 120-118.
Best Man Robb 1-2 (118.80) vs. The One and Only King Derek 1-2 (141.64)
It is mindboggling that Derek is 1-2 with the team that he has after drafting 43 times in the first 3 rounds. It has to change, and because of this, this matchup is brought to you by this song we just heard for the first time.
"BUY LOW SELL HIGH" feat. @CryptoFace - Krown Chakra [Official Lyric Video] - YouTube
Chase, London, Herny, Barkley, McBride, Pickens, now even more with CD hurt, and Egbuka, I miss the days that BMR was the 2nd best fantasy football player too, but that seems like lifetimes ago. Derek wins and wins big 159-120.
The Wiseguy 3-0 (130.30) vs. Bambino 1-2 (106.19)
Last week was great as Santino celebrated his anniversary by getting a win, and he was excited.
And he should be, he will not go winless, But the question is will the former Dean, the Wiseguy, Mr. Big Blue himself, who some, for a memorable week, called him Rite Aid, will he lose at all this year? We like this matchup because it has players going Tomorrow night, Sunday morning, Sunday at 1pm, Sunday at 4pm, Sunday night, and Monday night. However, it will not be that close. Ryan wins 135-105.
Tiricooooooo 1-2 (130.40) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 1-2 (124.94)
This is the worst matchup of the week for sure, going to be an easy one that will not be as close as the projections have it. So it is being brought to you by a different type of NFL Matchup show.
Mike & Mike: Frank Caliendo Invades The 'NFL Matchup' Studio
This matchup doesn't get going until Sunday at 1, but it will be over then when Cam Skattebo runs and catches all over the field to give Tirico a easy win!! He has Courtland Sutton going Monday night but that will just be icing on the cake for young Matthew. Tirico wins easy 135-110.
