Week 9 Preview
Sadly, we went 2-3 last week, dropping our season record to 22-18. The season is really picking up however, with every team, well almost every team, still having playoff implications. With that in mind, we need to get right to this week's matchups.
Go Blue 7-1 (122.86) vs. Hearts of Chaos 5-3 (107.57)
The projections have the Wiseguy getting a pretty easy win this week, and that is even before they add a defense playing. The Comish is definitely hoping he can trick his way to a win this week, so this matchup is brought to you by:
The matchup gets off to a big start on Thursday night, as Lamar Jackson is back under center for the former Dean, and has Miami this week, then Minnesota, Cleveland, Jets, and then the Bengals before playing the Steelers, and then having the Bengals again. In other words, here comes the Ravens. G-Money is hoping all of Lamar's points go to Mark Andrews, but even if that would be the case, and it will not be, Rite Aid also has Waddle going in the game. This will be a wire-to-wire win for our current first place team. Ryan wins this one pretty easy 135-110.
Hootie n Blowfish World Tour 3-5 (120.35) vs. Puka Mi-Puka Yu 4-4 (130.01)
Once the world tour adds a kicker the projections will be very close for this one and we feel it will be the matchup of the week. A close match up throughout, you may even say it will be a:
As of now our defending champs will get out to a lead with Achane going on Thursday night. Best Man Robb however finishes strong with Dak and Lamb. In between there are matchups to like on both sides. Mahomes going against the Bills defense at Buffalo, but no bad weather in Buffalo yet, and we predict a high scoring game with KC's offense starting to click now that they have all their pieces back, though one of those pieces, arguable the most important piece, is a member of Best Man Robb's team so even if the team's namesake is either not back, though he is expected to give it a go after being a limited participant in practice today, or back but not at 100% BMR has just enough to get a big win here in a close one throughout. BMR wins 134-132.
Hilltop Creepers 3-5 (112.29) vs. Golden Gate 4-4 (131.17)
Don't let Derek get hot. It appears it has happened and now after a slow start the man who had 28 picks in the first two rounds is projected for another win. King Henry starts it tomorrow for King Derek, as well as the Ravens defense so going into the weekend, we know he will be leading. While Sloney will not give up and take a lead for a bit on Sunday, that will be wasted away on Monday night with Pickens and McBride. Leaving out back-to-back Sports Emmy winner with no luck in fantasy football, he will have to enjoy his adult Halloween.
Sloney does all he can by Derek gets the win, 135-115.
Mr. Ass 3-5 (105.85) vs. Guy on the Coaster 3-5 (121.92)
A potential Horses Ass semifinal preview but both managers still have hopes to make the actual playoffs and show that they are not afraid of no ghosts:
While Santino is not afraid of no ghosts and have proved that by watching over 30 Halloween movies in the last month, he does need to add a defense that is playing, for he is afraid of losing by forfeit. Either of these teams have anyone going tomorrow evening, so it will be a weekend only matchup. The Lions-Vikings game will be HUGE in this matchup as both teams feature one Lions RB, Bambino has Jefferson while Tirico has the Lions Defense. After that 1pm Sunday game Tirico should have a lead and may keep it until Monday night. Ferguson will have to get 10 points to tie and just over to win, and he will get ten. The writing staff believed in both of these teams last week and predict them to get wins and they both lost, so this week, we are picking them to tie 123.45 to 123.45
Cincy BallZac 6-2 (80.95) vs. Jennifer & Ronny 2-6 (121.72)
These projections will change drastically once DP adds a QB and puts in Williams and St Brown and plays the Rams defense against the Saints and their backup QB. While J&R may get a little bit of an early lead with Flowers Thursday night, the rest of the matchup will be all DP celebrating, one may even say he will be dancing and doing the:
DP wins in a route, 125-105.
