Semi Finals.... And Round 2 of the Slone Loser Classic

 3-1 last week is not bad, I mean who could have seen Jennifer & Ronny getting a win right? Anyway, let's move forward and get right to it. Reminder, not only do we have a Thursday night game, but we also have two games on Saturday, before the normal Sunday slate and Monday night game. 


Semi Finals:

Hootie n Blowfish World Tour (138.35) vs. Go Blue (140.45)

James Franklin (Keegan-Michael Key) Leads Penn State Out of Tunnel | Big Ten Football

Matchup gets going tomorrow and Ryan should have a lead after that, with JSN going, while the world tour just has their kicker going. They also have their defense going on Saturday, before the real fun starts. Both have players going on Monday night as well so this one will not be decided until late Monday night/early Tuesday morning. Let's take a look at the breakdown:

QB: Stroud vs. Goff-Advantage Ryan

WR1: La Dee Dee vs. JSN-Advantage Ryan

WR2: DK vs. Waddle-Advantage Hootie

RB1: CMC vs. JTT-Push

RB2: Achane vs. Cook-Push

TE: Kittle vs. Henry-Advantage Hootie

Flex 1: Hall vs. Pearsall-Advantage Hootie

Flex 2: Jefferson vs. Judkins-Advantage Hootie

Kicker: Myers vs. McPherson-Advantage Ryan

Defense: Eagles vs. Saints-Advantage Ryan

Prediction: It is going to come down to those two RB matchups. 4 fantastic players and I love that JTT and CMC are going against each other on Monday night, well not actually, neither will be playing defense, but they will have a chance to match what the other is doing. Achane, Cinci, and Cook, Browns, both have great matchups, so we expect a lot of scoring. The defending champs have had a great run, but all good things must come to an end. The Wiseguy gets the win and heads to the title game, 155-148.

Golden Gate (150.23) vs. Hearts of Chaos (123.74)

A weekend only matchup in the other semifinals. Games on Saturday and Sunday only. Yahoo projections are not giving our award winning Commish much of a chance but let's take a look closer at the matchup:

QB: Burrow vs. Allan-Advantage Greg

WR1: Pickens-AJ Brown-Advantage Derek

WR2: Chase vs. Wilson-Advantage Derek

RB1: Barkley vs. Robinson-Advantage Greg

RB2: Jacobs vs. Irving-Advantage Derek

TE: Mcbride vs. Andrews-Advantage Derek

Flex 1: London vs. Boutte-Advantage Derek- As long as Drake plays

Flex 2: Higgins vs. Reed-Advantage Derek

Kicker: Little vs. Dicker the Kicker-Advantage Greg

Defense: Chargers vs. Bills-Advantage Greg

As long as London plays it looks like the Yahoo Projections will be correct and Derek will be moving on to the title game to take on Ryan. Derek wins 155-135.

This one gets going tomorrow, with Nacua, the name shake of BMR going, as well as Parkinson. DP counters with one of his name shakes, K Williams, and the Rams D. He also is going to have to start a kicker who isn't hurt, and a better flex option then Singletary, but after doing that, it will make the projections a lot closer, but still BMR is going to get the lead after week 1. 145-125.

Nico and Sutton will both have big games again and Tiricoooo will set up a brother vs brother matchup next week where the winner gets the #1 pick. Tirico wins 135-103.

Week 9 Preview

Sadly, we went 2-3 last week, dropping our season record to 22-18. The season is really picking up however, with every team, well almost every team, still having playoff implications. With that in mind, we need to get right to this week's matchups. Week 10 Preview

 After going 3-2 last week, the writing staff's record for the season is now 25-20. Though we do feel we should get a little credit in the Santino vs. Tirico match, which we called for a tie at 123.45 and Tirico's actual points was 123.52, so pretty darn close, but Bambino was off by over 30 points for our predictions, so we digress. Let's get right into week 10, where we once again have Sunday football from 930am est till Sunday night.  William & Williams Associates 7-2 (119.60) vs. Hearts of Chaos 5-4 (123.69) This matchup gets going tonight with Bowers playing for DP, and then there is someone in this matchup going Sunday at 930, 1, 4, 820 and Monday night.
