THE FINAL WEEKEND, STARTING THURSDAY
Went 4-1 last week, but it does not matter, it is Championship week here in the greatest Fantasy League around and the writing staff just wants to thank all 11 of you for letting us write about your wonderful league for another year. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe 2026! Now let's get to it.
Championship: Brought to you by: Heart Of A Champion
It has all come down to this: Derek vs Ryan for the trophy that means more than anything in the world. Not to mention, that Cash Money!!
QB: Burrow vs Arizona (Sunday 1pm) vs. Goff at Minnesota (Thursday 4:30pm)
Burrow seems to be back and Chase x2, Chase Brown and Jamar Chase, plus Higgins has definitely liked having him back, the weather is looking like warm but an 80% chance of rain and possible storms on Sunday so we will see if that does affect him in any way. Meanwhile we know the weather will be nice inside the dome in the beautiful twin cities of Minneapolis and St Paul, giving Goff and Ryan a slight edge.
RB: Barkley at Buffalo (Sunday 4:25pm) Jacobs vs. Baltimore (Saturday 8pm) vs. JTT vs. Jags (Sunday 1pm) Cook III vs. Eagles (4:25pm Sunday)
4 fantastic running backs and we are looking forward to watching these guys go at it. Especially that Bills/Eagles game with Cook and Barkley going at it. It will be close but again we feel the edge is going to Ryan on this one. Running backs don't care about weather, they are real tough football players, give them the rock!
WR: Chase vs. Arizona (Sunday 1pm) Pickens at Washington (Thursday 1pm) London vs Rams (Monday 8:15pm) Higgins vs. Arizona (Sunday 1pm) vs. JSN at Carolina (Sunday 1pm) DJ Moore at 49ers (Sunday 8:20pm) Waddle vs TB (Sunday 1pm) Harrison Jr. at Cinci (Sunday 1pm)
Derek really needs the rain, and storms hold off since he really has a lot of his eggs in that basket, with Burrow and Chase and Higgins all going. JSN is going to have a big game, cause that's what he does, but the rest of The Wiseguy's wide outs we are not crazy about this week, so rain or shine, we give Derek an advantage at this position.
Tight End: McBride at Cinci (Sunday 1pm) vs. Strange at Indy (Sunday 1pm)
Rain or shine does not matter again in this one, Derek has the advantage here.
Kicker: Little at Indy (Sunday 1pm) vs. Mcpherson vs. Arizona (Sunday)
Did we mention this Cinci-Arizona game is a major one in this matchup. We are little worried about the storms for the kicking game, giving Little, and Derek an edge in this one.
Defense: Lions at Minnesota (Thursday 4:30pm) vs. Saints at Titans (Sunday 1pm)
We like both of these matchups for these defenses. Vikings offense hasn't looked great, I mean they only scored 16 points against the Giants. Meanwhile, you have the Saints, fresh off scoring 21.40 points against the Jets, now have a rookie QB, Saints D has actually been good the last 6 weeks so there is good reason the former Dean called on them for this week again, and we are giving the edge to Ryan, but it is close.
Final Prediction: The Yahoo projections have Derek winning it 159.14 to 142.73 and we feel it is going to be even closer than that and we really feel JSN, JTT and Cook are going to be the difference. Ryan wins it all in a very close hard-fought battle 150-147.
3rd Place Matchup: Brought to you by: Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart (Turn Around) (Official Video) - YouTube
The defending champs had a great run, but the quest for a back-to-back title came up just short. But Chris and Jason are not going to want to end the year with a L. They start tomorrow with the Denver D playing against KC and their 3rd string QB as well as Jefferson. The award winning Commish does not have anyone going until Saturday, with Andrews, and Dicker the kicker, a nickname giving to him by Mr. Gonzales his 7th grade Science teacher. On Sunday the rest of the World Tour is in action, while G-Money has Corum and Robinson going on Monday night so as long as the rest of his team can keep it close, and CMC and Kittle don't have the same type of game they had on Monday night again this week on Sunday night, we can have some suspense. We do feel like the Soon to be ending Hootie World Victory tour will have a great Sunday for Monday night not to matter. CJ Vickery wins 155-135.
Week 2 of BMR vs. DP-Brought to you by: Survivor - Burning Heart
Robb is up by a small margin after week one, 96.07 little points, so DP has some work to do. DP is projected 114.64 points this week, and starts with St Brown, Addison, J Williams, and Bates tomorrow. He also has the Rams D and K Williams on Monday night, with the rest of his team Sunday. He will have to find another TE, as Mr. Bowers is going to IR, so once he does add a tight end, the projections will change a bit. BMR on the other hand has Dak, Lamb, Gibbs, and RJ tomorrow, and Fairbairn and Texans D on Saturday, and after three guys on Sunday, his name shake finishes it off Monday. Not that much will need to be done, as he is projected 150.43 points and again has a 96.07 lead, so BMR is winning this matchup, 143-120.
First the current standings going into the last week for the battle of the Horses Ass
Tiricoooooooo 2-0 319.93 total points
Steve 1-1 334.75 total points
Sloney 1-1 291.04 total points
Santino 0-2 165.08 total points
Steve is currently 14.82 points ahead of Tirico, 43.71 points ahead of Sloney.
Tirico is currently 28.89 points ahead of Sloney.
The Slone Brother's Horses Ass Invitational: Brought to you by: Song Sung Blue
Pretty easy for all. If Tirico wins, he gets his money back and the #1 pick no matter what. If Sloney wins, then Tirico would have to score 14.82.5 points more than Steve to win the first pick, unless Sloney scored 43.71 points more than Steve, then Sloney would win the first pick. Tirico has Sutton and Samuel going tomorrow to celebrate the Lord's birth, then Collins on Saturday before the rest of his squad goes on Sunday. Meanwhile his older brother has Mclaurin and Jmo on Thursday, before King Henry goes on Saturday and then the rest of his team on Sunday. Meaning when we wake up Monday morning, if not before we go to sleep Sunday night, depending on your schedule and where you are in this great country we will know who has the #1 pick in the 2026 draft. The Writing staff feels Sloney will win but a close one, 135-128, which will not be enough to give him the #1 pick, unless Santino wins over Steve...
Steve vs. Santino for 3rd Pick. Brought to you by: Rocky IV - Hearts on Fire True HD - YouTube
We all know Santino is going to win, but it may be tough for him to get the 3rd pick and not the 4th and win the Horses Ass again, but it isn't over yet. It is very simple; Bambino can get the 3rd pick and let Jennifer & Ronny become a two-time Horses Ass winner by just winning this week by more than 169.67 points. That's it. So pretty easy, the team just needs to score about 105 more points than it did last week. Like I heard someone say before, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Santino clearly will win this week, but sadly for us all, not just enough, 130-110.
That will make Santino and Steve 1-2 and Sloney and Tirico both 2-1, Though with Sloney not outscoring him by the 28.89 points he needs, Tirico would win the #1 pick.
