week 1 Preview

 The wait is over; the NFL is officially back! This year we even start a day early. Tomorrow night, Super Bowl Re Match. That means the managers of this great league has to follow games on Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday. Let's not waste any more time. Let's get to our week 1 preview. 


G-Money 129.51 vs. Tiricooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo 141.31

An all-Sunday matchup, except for the Denver D on Monday night for the Commish. Projection wise as long as he is down by 10-12 points or less, he feels like he at least has a chance going into Monday night. The good news is that he will not have to stay up late Monday night and wonder if he will win week 1. The bad news is, because the matchup will already be over. Tirico;s backup QB and three wide outs on the bench would be upgrades for some teams in this league. Greg will take an early lead after the 1pm window on Sunday and may even hold a slight edge after the 4pm block. But CeeDee and Cam will take care of that Sunday night. Tirico wins 150-138. 


King Derek 136.58 vs. The Wiseguy 132.16

This may be the closest matchup of the week, and we don't have to wait long for it to begin. JSN and Stevenson, especially with Henderson out, will give the former Dean the lead after tomorrow night, and then on Thursday, he has his Tight End going against his defense, you do need to defend your tight end, it is very important. Derek has his kicker going, so he should score at least some points, but will still be down a great deal going into Sunday's games. The comeback then is on, and Derek will storm back and take the lead and hold on to that lead going into Monday night, Waddel vs KW3. That is where Ryan will jump back ahead, thanks to a Spartan. KW3 135 yards and 2 TDs give Rite Aid the win 145-140. 


Sloney 128.72 vs. DP 137.32

DP is hoping it's still Maye Day and that the Price will not be wrong tomorrow night, as he gets off to an early lead. Then the lead grows on Thursday as one of the Williams brothers and Mr. Adams play. But the three-time Emmy award winner knows it isn't how you start, it's how you finish. Sloney comes back and takes a lead after Sunday. But he forgets there is one more Williams's brother on DP's team, and that becomes the difference, as DP uses a strong Monday night to win week 1, 141-135.

A kicker must still be added, as Team Hootie has two managers and no kickers. Kickers are people too damn it. No one going for either side tomorrow, but Thursday we get BMR's name shake going, so that should get him off to a nice lead. But that lead will not last. C&J Fantasy Factory will come back strong on Sunday and have a lead after the Lord's Day. But Mr. Rice will make Robb's real and fantasy team happy with a Touchdown on Monday night to go with 7 catches for 84 yards to give Best Man Robb the win. 134-132. 


Bambino 130.07 vs. Jennifer & Ronny 127.53

It's nice for Yahoo to project this matchup to be so close, so that maybe Jennifer & Ronny can have a little bit of excitement and joy going into the season, and some hope for a better year. But Santino will put an end to all of that starting Thursday night with Run CMC. Sure J&R has their kicker going tomorrow, but he will be good for just a few PATs and not help at all. While all signs are pointing to Nabers playing Sunday night it will not be enough, as the first of many losses will come Jennifer & Ronny's way. Cook and Brown will both also have big games for Santino who has put together a very good team. The Ass man wins 135-120.

Week 10 Preview

 After going 3-2 last week, the writing staff's record for the season is now 25-20. Though we do feel we should get a little credit in the Santino vs. Tirico match, which we called for a tie at 123.45 and Tirico's actual points was 123.52, so pretty darn close, but Bambino was off by over 30 points for our predictions, so we digress. Let's get right into week 10, where we once again have Sunday football from 930am est till Sunday night.  William & Williams Associates 7-2 (119.60) vs. Hearts of Chaos 5-4 (123.69) This matchup gets going tonight with Bowers playing for DP, and then there is someone in this matchup going Sunday at 930, 1, 4, 820 and Monday night. DP needs to add a kicker still, but once he does the projections will slip back over to his side.
