Week 3 Preview

 After another strong 4-1 week for the writing staff, we are now 8-2 on the season, which we feel pretty good about, but there is always room for improvement. So, with that said, let's get right to the week 3 Preview. 

Tirico 2-0 (130.981) vs. Best Man Robb 1-1 (133.89)

Projected for a close BMR win, but Tirico needs to add a TE that is playing still, so once he does that, he will be favored. He should get off to a nice lead after tomorrow night with Mr. Robinson going, and now that the Falcons are starting an actual NFL QB, with all respect to the great Cooper Rush, that should help all the Falcons skills position players who have had a rough start to the season. BMR also will have to wonder all week until Sunday night if his team's namesake is playing in Denver. The writing staff feels the Rams have Adams, who clearly can still go, as we saw on Monday, and early in the season it is best to rest your star one more week to make sure he is 100%. BMR does have the advantage at defense, but other than that, Tirico really looks like a buzzsaw this year. Tirico holds on with Hurts going Monday Night for BRM to win a close one 142-139.

Bambino 2-0 (123.24) vs. C&J Music Factory 0-2 (130.29)

Not sure we all are ready to leave in a world where Santino and Tirico are both undefeated in fantasy, but here we are. Santino gets us started tomorrow night with Golden going, but this matchup has lots of prime-time love in it. Especially Monday night. The never ending Hootie World Tour has Barkley, Smith and Loveland going, while Santino has his defense and both flexes, the Bears running backs, at the time of time, but if Zay Flowers does play, we would expect him to throw him one of those flex spots. No matter what he chooses to do, this is not your older brother's Santino. Even though reports we heard from sources were that he was not even aware there was a draft until mere minutes before, the writing staff is starting to believe that was all a part of his master plan. A long con if you will, that he was pretending for years not to care or follow football very closely while he was gathering a ton of insider information and waiting for his time to strike. That time is now. Bambino wins 139-133. 

King Derek 1-1 (151.08) vs. DP 0-2 (134.67)

We really like DP's team, and even though he scored the 2nd most points last week and would have beat four other teams in week 1 with his point total he is 0-2. Derek will get off to a lead we know with his kicker, laying the Smack down on himself, and Watson going. DP on the other end, has all Sunday players this week. DP is really hoping Puka doesn't play again so Adams can have another big game, but at Denver is a much harder matchup then home against the Giants and their God awful secondary. That being said, we do think this matchup will be close, and the writing staff was torn with this prediction, but in a close one, we are going with Derek 152-148.

Projections will change of course once Sloney adds a QB who is actually playing this week. Coming off his bye week, he may have just forgot to change it, it is still mid-week, he has time. G-Money will get off to a lead tomorrow night with Kraft and London going, London will definitely be very happy to see Penix back, since in 14 career games with Penix at QB, London has 91 catches for 1,286 yards and 9 TDs. The Comish needs those types of numbers, as he does not want to fall to 0-3. Depending on who Sloney picks at QB, we suggest Goff, CJ or Shough, he may have guys all going all Sunday afternoon only, so that can let him have time for evening "activities" which will help team moral, however, this week it will not get him a win. The Commish has to win every so often or he will just kick everyone else out of the league. G-Money wins 135-129. 

Jennifer & Ronny 0-2 (125.51) vs. The Wiseguy 2-0 (134.64)

One team we know will stay undefeated this week is the one ran by the former Dean. Rite Aid will have no issues this week giving J&R another loss, as they may just have that winless season after all. It is very much in play. We would like to say that Jennifer & Ronny will at least get off to a lead after tomorrow night having a player going, when Ryan does not, but considering how Pitts has done the first two games, we don't even feel great about that. All the other players on both sides are Sunday afternoon games, besides Ryan's defense on Sunday night, but he will have a big enough lead by then, that this one will be even before Carris starts singing and Steve starts touching himself. Wiseguys roll 137-116.
